Well it went pretty much as everyone expected, Everton too strong for the Swans, we huffed and puffed(powder puffed actually) and the other team just take the points, i didnt think Everton were amazing but they had 2-3 players of class that made the difference.

Sinclair- why didnt he play tonight, was he injured? the youth team player who stood on the wing and did nothing all game should be ashamed of himself,i cant wait to see sinclair back in the team!

Routledge- probably our best player, tackled back put in some decent crosses and had a go for 90mins.

Kemy for Gower?? what a waste of a substitution!! and as it happened we needed to get Luke Moore on the field later on but couldnt because for some strange reason Brenden thought that Gower was going to be the main man for this game!! a very bad judgement call from the manager and a waste of a sub as well.

Taylor- Injured, just what we need right now, Joe Allen looks tired to me as well,if he doesnt get rested soon he is going to pick up an injury.

Frustrating watching us play sometimes, im getting fed up of us trying to contain teams and not have a go back, what ever happened to asking questions of the opposition? still,Brenden knows more than me and im happy to follow his path :)

Barry Horn- What a total prick of a bloke he is, spent most of the first half moaning about the fact that Everton hadnt scored, swansea are creating nothing at all, everton keeper hasnt got anything to do..moan,moanmoan!! then he starts calling us Blackpool ! ive never come across a more biased commentator than Barry Horn, so much for being a welshman,he couldnt wait to see the swans get beat,****er !

4 points off relegation, we are where most expected us to be,nothing more nothing less ...same old same old .

Its our usual xmas spell....happens every year!!! Had a rant on the other article so feeling a bit better about it now and not as pent up....still disappointed we played that poorly though. Needs to pick the players in form and not drop them e.g Moore when Allen was suspended. Still think there are 3 teams worse than us this season though!!

I agree about Luke Moore , i think id rather see him play just behind in stead of Joe, he has a bit of height and a great touch,he also seems to link up with routledge quite well, put Kemy in there from the start and im sure we can give DG some ball to play with, one chance i think he had all game, shame he put it straight to the keepers arms !!

Squeaky bum time on the Horizon me thinks !!

Which 3 teams are you thinking about by the way ??

Blackburn gave us a good beating.
Wolves came back and took 2 points of us .
Wigan, failed to beat them at home.

The 3 worst teams seem to change from week to week, right now i put us in the catorgory of one of the three worst sides, we arnt scoring goals and dont even look like creating, which was not happening at the start of the season. Brenden got to be worried if you ask me :)

Bolton and Blackburn defo and id say Wolves because although they took two points off us they are not getting them anywhere else and i would be confident that we would turn them over @ fortress Liberty.

I think he just took these games too cautiously given the manic fixture list coming up. Cant imagine he will play the same way against Villa in our next away game.....at least i hope to god he doesnt as they have been 2 very poor away games!!

Stop panicking. We were rubbish yes, probably the worst we've played this season. I agree with you that Gower was dreadful again but Rodgers loves the guy. But if we beat QPR this game will be forgotten. If you've watched the Prem at all this season it's easy to see that there are in fact more than 3 teams worse than us. Most realistic Swans fans would have taken 14th at this stage of the season.

We have a superb defensive record and at home are very difficult to score against, let alone beat. We played far too cautiously tonight and paid the price.

Some People had a go at me because i said Newcastle were average, i think WBA proved tonight that they are. Also QPR and Norwich got something at Everton and we didnt, i feel that the cautious approach mostly gets us beat anyway!! Newcastle we were lucky, tonight we were outclassed, caution against wolves cost us 2 points,Blackburn away with their shaky defence meant we had to exert pressure on them and we didnt !!

I dont see the need for caution away from home because we look nowhere near getting 3 pts which ever way we play!! might as well say **** it and have a real go, no teams like it up do they !!

I said on another thread 4 points from the next 3 games (inc Everton) i haven't changed my mind, we were poor tonight but i think that's because we were over cautious not because of who we were playing , more like over the amount of games we will be playing over the coming weeks...it was a poor performance from both sides in the first half and a little bit more experience in their line up made the difference over all...But far from panicking i'd be more concerned if I was Wigan Wolves Blackburn or Bolton

    Its our usual xmas spell....

<doh> ....its nothing to do with us being rubbish then.......OH i see its a few days to xmas day and the lads thought.... i know lets gift everton the points as a xmas present from us......we do it every year you know, it like a tradition like...What is the reason for gifting blackburn, norwich, wolves and the rest of the so called teams you put us down for a win every week as they are on par with us......we are rubbish and it shows every week. there is no shape to the team of non premiership players who pretend they are......

We are stagnant in midfield , without a clear objective . We lost our pace on the outside & the inside guys' space of operation has shrunk . For a team that can't win a header most times , we can't really afford to give away a 15 set piece aerial assault into our box game in & game out . Whoever comes through the door in January , better have to duck IMO .

You are right Norway. Rodgers planned a point at the Toon and got away with it and thought he could do it again. I hope this has taught him. Fair play to QPR and Norwich at least they give it a go away from home.

    Yeah ,fair points above.

I just feel we are alot better than the last few games suggest, these arnt teams that we should be too afraid of as WBA and QPR have shown, so to be so timid frustrates me, it must be frustrating the players as well, i beleive we are on the right track just a few players short of being comfortable at this level .

wouldn't be so rough on them Dai.... Yes I am gutted too and Feel like the only 3 pts we can get on the road is 3 draws... still did anyone think that we were going to walk in to the Premier League and really kick ass, and Come on Everton are well established.... We are punching way above our weight and we all know it really, that's why Brendan says having the supporters on side are so important... Have to say, am still proud to hear our guys even when we are losing.....

If we can keep chipping away maybe we can manage somehow to stay up, which is possible...

Wrong tactics tonight, and we were punished for it, time to move on and get back to our attacking football, I hope Rodgers will not be playing this negative football for the rest of the away season, as our supporters will be very disgruntled, and rightly so!.............
