Largely agree with that list, apart from Wharton, I rate him and I'd have taken him.

Palmer has had a poor season and looks shot. Foden has been poor all season and has rarely done it for England. Colwill has been pretty non descript all season in a misfiring Chelsea team. Maguire is probably past it at international level, Shaw too injury prone, Tomori I've not seen a lot of, but no England manager seems to trust him so there might be something we don't know about involving him. There's only Wharton that I think should be included as he's normally impressed me.

Surely not Gibbs White aswell ffs. I can see this World cup getting ruined for me with the squad selection. I thought we'd passed all that now when Southgate left

Luke Shaw has played in every premier league game this season. Crazy to call him injury prone.

Injured players going, older players going, even a bloke who has been on holiday in the Middle East for a year going.

And this manager likes to play an "energetic style"?!

As is often said, a good club manager - and there are few better than Tuchel - does not necessarily make a good international manager. And of course Vice Versa. Quarter finals at the maximum I'd say.

As I always thought, apart from tactical nous in the very big games, Southgate was better than he was given credit for.

Maybe that tactical nous, which Tuchel excels at will prove handy. But I'm not even sure we'll get to those "big games"

Just as well this is the first world cup of my life that I've little interest in. They have killed it.
 
Why Henderson? as much I love him, no

We need Morgan Gibbs White, he offers something different

CLaire Balding is going who has hardly played since March...
