Did we get that defence from ChatGPT? ****ing hell hahaha

The best sporting legal counsel should’ve been sorted the day it became apparent we had been caught doing something against the rules. Not the morning of the appeal after we’d been kicked out. It’s ****ing basics

Laughable that we only brought Pannick on board yesterday.

Whole thing reeks of incompetence. Proper amateur hour as we are used to under SR.

Tonda admitted responsibility for the spying operations

The intern told the panel he was put under pressure by the manager to spy on Oxford and Middlesbrough

The reason for spying on Middlesbrough was primarily to determine the availability of Hayden Hackney, the reason for spying on Oxford was to determine which formation their caretaker manager would use

The intern declined to participate in the Ipswich spying at Eastleigh because he was uncomfortable with the plan

Junior staff members were placed under significant pressure by senior staff members, led by Eckert

Junior staff members without job security and with limited ability to resist the instructions were deliberately used by Eckert and senior staff to spy

Saints asserted in their initial response on May 8 that no footage has been captured, live broadcast or received by Staplewood staff for analysis. This was later proven to be incorrect and Saints admitted they had lied about this

Then admitted it hadn’t been an isolated spying incident at Middlesbrough after we became aware that the EFL were exploring other accusations

Evidence of a culture of ‘deplorable’ manipulating of junior staff from the top down within Saints coaching team

This one much better @Archers Road <laugh>

I wonder if this is now enough evidence to be able to sack the whole first team staff without paying any compensation?

Right. Clusterfuck then.

The business of junior staff being pressured into doing something they weren’t comfortable with, is what I find most indefensible tbh.

I still don’t hate Tonda, but I struggle to forgive him for doing that to junior staff.

The whole defence reeks of ineptitude. How the **** did we stall the hearing for the best part of two weeks and then serve up that load of nonsense?

And then you have Parsons sending internal staff email alerts telling them the club is very confident in its legal position. It shouldn’t have been, it was a total ****ing shambles

Eckert has to go and there’s a good case for Parsons going as well, his response was wholly inadequate and ill-judged considering he’s the CEO

A total lack of name checks for Johannes Spors so he’s either squeaky clean or the slipperiest eel of the set. You choose

It’s clear from the report and the way we acted that it never really crossed Saints mind that they would be kicked out. Just go in admit what they have you for, take your fine/points deduction and move on. If they had taken it very seriously from the initial charge then the outcome may have been different

As I am going through, first notable thing for me - We initially lied to the EFL and denied we had captured any video footage, couldn't have put us in good stead.
We did that on the 8th, the same day the charge was issued. Why on earth are we making admissions so early when it's impossible to have done a full investigation by that point?

Then that thundercunt goes into the Boro boardroom the following day and says to a man renowned for litigation "Yeah soz about that. Don't worry we'll happily pay the fine".

Absolute ****ing clown show.

All this out now and still no dismissal’s.
Or statement.
Yeah that accountability has started well.
A new culture has to stay at this club now, I’d Dragan doesn’t / can’t do it, then put this magnificent club up for sale and **** off

I'm not going to read it. Ignorance is bliss. Have spent the last few hours working out the logistics of my hiking holiday starting Sunday. Going to hike the Cumbria Way straight into the Hadrians Wall Path. Can't wait, not least because it will be the best part of 2 weeks away from having to read or think about Saints (or anything else going on the world really).

I go back to my post this morning though...

Why ain't that **** Parsons resigned yet?

Parsons and Tonda shouldn't be waiting to be sacked. They must both realise they should resigning?

Even before all of this, I wasn't a fan of Parsons. Haven't warmed to him since day one. Far too much focus on off-field stuff, when the best way to generate more money is on-field results. (Reminds of when Spurs said the other month something along the lines of being in a great position as a business, except for the football.)
