Looking ahead I can see the following players leaving.
Scienza
THB
Charles
Jander
Downes
Azaz

Not sure about Ross Stewart’s contract situation but I would hope to keep him and Larin, if he wants to stay.
Peretz will probably have suitors elsewhere following a good loan spell.
Bree may no longer want to extend his contract, having said that he wanted to stay.
Manning could potentially get approached based on his goals and assists.

Whoever is in charge, we could need a massive rebuild in the midfield and upfront.
At the back we would need a keeper.
Stephens, Wood and Quarshie at CB + 1 other
Welington and the guy from Brentford could be the FBs if Bree and Manning go
Robinson and Fellows wide right.
Edozie and A N Other wide left

We would definitely need better attacking options but we still have a squad that has decent experience for the division.

Bayern might want to take another look at him as well after his 6 months here, with Neuer 40+. Being second choice, and playing in cup competitions may well be enticing enough.

Have the players stopped running around with their imaginary spy glasses yet <laugh> . In fairness, most fans feel sorry for the Saints fans, except the gobshite le tissier. Awful way to end a season and will take some recovering from. Wish you genuine fans the best of luck

LeTissier may be a gobshite and a complete mentalist, but at least he’s our gobby mentalist

I'm surprisingly calm this morning after yesterday's news.

We have an opportunity now with probably little to no compensation being paid out, to reset at the board level, management team, and first team again.

As a competition I much prefer the Championship, but obviously for the city and the club the PL is much preferred.

We just have to get back up, and go again.

Peretz will just be the tip of the iceberg. I can imagine with the spectre of financial lawsuits and compensation looming SR will look to sell everything they possibly can to cover their asses. They have been without a shadow of doubt the worst thing to ever happen to Southampton FC, when we thought we were riding the beautiful Tonda wave even that turns out to be a deception and we are sent crashing down to earth again. Unfortunately I can't be a plastic and have supported Saints from all corners of the world but this time feels different, something has radically changed something ( for me anyway ) is irretrievably broken. For as long as those charlatans are at the club I will not even look at a Saints result or care if they win lose or draw. No more screaming from the stands, no more shouting at the TV. The game is gone

Went to WF yesterday, expecting a load of abuse. Nobody took the piss, just felt sorry for me and all Saints fans. They knew about spying at Eastleigh, which was news to me. Overall they were ok, but we’re panicking about getting to Wembley in 3 days. One comment was, ‘ Those Hull bastards have hoovered up all the coaches from the Tees to the Humber, that’s not fair’. Not my problem mate!

As we all know with Saints, there’s always another embarrassing incident waiting over the horizon. After Spygate, does anyone have any idea what will top this? Ground destroyed by meteor, with Saints not insured for intergalactic events, a sunami coming up Southampton Water. Actually God will get the blame, not SR.

But did you clap and cheer from the stands when Gao was in charge (who invested none of his own money over his 5yrs on the squad, stadium, or it's amenities) or watched games on your TV at home?

Solak has actually invested in the club, it's infrastructure and amenities in the last 4yrs.

Solak isn't the problem, the problem lies with Ankersen and Kraft for me. He has a chance now to clear out the board and first team management.

^^^this. He can do it without it costing him in payoffs and it has been laid bare to his eyes how amateur hour his management are. He will want to fix this.

While I have little sympathy for Southampton FC itself, I have sympathy for the fans of Southampton because from experience I know we as fans don't really have much say on the actions taken by the club, actions which may be unethical at times, or the way it's run. Owners do what they want, how they want, and the fans have to take it, for better or worse. I imagine it must be pretty gutting for the season to end the way it has and would leave a bitter taste. But not the great Billy Idol song.

But on the bright side at least we get another season of south coast derbies!
