I wonder if Pep leaving will have an effect on City transfers this summer - especially in the case of Anderson who would be an ideal replacement for Casemiro. Hopefully the uncertainty caused by his departure might sway him to move to us - guaranteed game time and a prominent figure in the squad rather than part of a City squad that faces an uncertain future.

Chelsea, City, Spurs if they survive, all new managers. Slot will be sacked before Christmas.

If we make the right signings, we have to be genuine contenders. The Champions league is just a bonus that we're not winning, the league has to be a target though.

Got to try to win the PL, get to the knockouts in the CL, and play reserves in the domestic cups.

I suppose we could try to win the league cup as it's early season, but the FA Cup bogs clubs down trying to compete in the league.

Given Maguire's prowess in the air in both boxes I think Tuchel has made a big mistake, particularly as the games will be played at a snail's pace because of the heat, meaning set plays will be a big feature of the tournament.
