I think that our appeal is precisely why they added that to the punishment. They'll remove them and make it look like they've been fair to us by doing soI think we'll get the points reduced/removed.

No one can tell me that filming a training session gives a bigger advantage than financial doping. Or fielding ineligible players.
They broke the rules on multiple occasions, we have to take our medicine, nobody likes cheating. No one can tell me that filming a training session gives a bigger advantage than financial doping. Or fielding ineligible players.
The keeper thing is an advantage, and fine if you get the info from match footage, but not if you watch a team practicing them in the days before a match.I think there's an advantage in pre match preparation, absolutely, otherwise we and other teams wouldn't have tried to do it. Keepers are allowed to have the penalty takers names on their water bottles to look at in a match, and list which way etc that they will most likely go. Is that not a similar level of advantage?
What offences! Hull City have been the most well behaved in this debacle!Games that we didn’t even win!
The “offence” is the most minor offence imaginable.
Hull’s offences are worse and they’re in the final!!
And?Hehehe out....
Exactly my thoughts.I think that our appeal is precisely why they added that to the punishment. They'll remove them and make it look like they've been fair to us by doing so

Tiger.......they should be down to L2.Hull fan. Wouldn’t have minded who we played tbh as long as it’s Saturday, probably got more chance against boro. By spying you were trying to take boro’s chance of promotion and £200 million away from them so therefore you are fairly being removed of the chance to get promotion and win £200 million. Also, you haven’t just spied on three teams because why on earth would you choose Oxford!!! You’ve decided to admit spying on Ipswich because they’ve gone up don’t doesn’t really matter and Oxford because you lost. Just trying to say to the efl that spying didn’t aid you in anyway but your covering up many more. At best you’ll get the points deduction removed but by appealing it’s giving the efl more chance of increasing the punishment if you’re further found guilty. And your manager should get a long long ban
Is it? We have blatantly cheated (badly)with the sole aim of getting promoted. The punishment is to not allow us to get promoted. Sounds about right to me. The galling thing is that all the other infringements in football never seem to get the punishment they deserve.it doesn’t matter, the offence is still the same offence. The punishment is absolutely absurd
It’s not the rules were different, there was no rule. We did it in January not before a play off game.I wonder if the Leeds punishment will hold any weight if that’s our argument.
1. The rules were different then
2. They lost in the playoff semi so the EFL could argue they would’ve kicked them out if they’d made the final
Seems like a pretty easy thing for the EFL/independent panel to brush off if that is our main argument about the punishment
Thats what I said about 100 pages agoI think that our appeal is precisely why they added that to the punishment. They'll remove them and make it look like they've been fair to us by doing so
I doubt that. I think the EFL will argue that this is the real sporting punishment. Take the promotion element out and we have really only been kicked out of a knockout tournament for cheating. What they probably should have done is award a 3-0 win to boro in the first leg and called it. Same result, harder to argue unreasonableness.I think we'll get the points reduced/removed.
