I'm sure their argument would be we didn't lose fairly because we cheated?
I guess they could argue that for the first leg, but not for the second leg?

Seems a little too convenient to me.I imagine that the EFL are quite relieved that the other two clubs were Ipswich and Oxford. Neither of them will seek any sort of financial compensation, one assumes.
If it had been Millwall or Wrexham (or maybe even Derby), that would have been another can of worms.
I dread to think how many players will leave us, one way or another, this summer now.
Yeah fair enough, I’m just not sure they will survive this.If they don’t want to sell then there’s not much that can happen. Boycotts and hitting them in their pocket is an obvious step the fanbase can take but that’s not going to happen until next season at least, and even then it might not make them sell
That makes no sense. Either the entire appeal is rejected or we're reinstated IMO.
Not likely to until the outcome of the appealHas there been no statement from our club yet?
We are essentially being given a potential £200 million fine for filming some training sessions. It would be one of the biggest punishments in footballing history. I don't care if they sack Tonda and the staff tomorrow and we play at Wembley with the cleaner in charge, the punishment isn't proportional.
It's two legged but it's a single tie, if we cheated for the first leg then we cheated for the entire tie essentially.I guess they could argue that for the first leg, but not for the second leg?

"Southampton believe that with tomorrow’s appeal, there is still ‘a very strong chance’ that they will be in Saturday’s play-off final as mascots for Hull"Really????

Couldn't really do that if they have good evidence. Which they surely haveWe should never have admitted any of it. Dragged it out until after the final
Amateur hour
Indeed. The ultimate irony is we didn't actually win any of the games where we've admitted spying.Leeds got a £200k fine for spying over a whole season.
This punishment is an absolute joke.
Not to mention Boro being reinstated is beyond a travesty. Lawfare does not win games. Neither does an iPhone from 300 yards

And to think we were glad for Gao to sellThey will. The noddy melts which make up most of our fan base will whine a little bit online and then do **** all in the stadium. They'll still have nice tame questions thrown gently at them by Blackmore and House, and then make sure there's lots of nice posts about the women's team.
