I've been watching this in disbelief. The EFL are a toothless, piss poor organisation. Yes its a dreadful state of affairs, but always possible to resolve - and quickly. There's a recognised charge, but no punishment parameters - inept madness.
The offence has been commited, that doesn't seem arguable. Why complicate it?
The Smoggies were fairly beat. Are they trying to convince us all that, after being sussed, the Sinners had a huge advantage? Pathetic. They were beaten fair and square.
We should play the Sinners; thats football. Their manager is responsible for his wider team. Heads may roll, but his is top of the list.
All of this nonsense of not stopping him managing on the day is bollocks - thats why we have assistant managers. What the Sinners do with him is their business, but he should be nowhere near Wembley on the day of the game, which absolutely should be Saturday, 16:30hrs. The Smoggies are fairly beaten and that's life; their bleating is cringeworthy. EFL grow a pair.

I don't know why I dislike this saying so much. I mean, has anyone ever had a meeting with the doors wide open? Its pretty standard for any meeting to have the doors closed, especially in these times of air conditioning.

Im looking forward to the day when someone reveals they're having a meeting in with the doors wide open.
In my last job before I retired, we were short of conference rooms for the amount of staff so I sometimes had team meetings sat on the grass in Temple Gardens. We always checked that there were no interns filming from behind a tree though.

Talksport just interviewed Agbonlahor, who’s spent all day with Acun. They talked about Villa (obviously), clothes, suitcases, going on acuns motorbike and speedboat. Not even a mention about this. Whoever the numbnuts presenter was didn’t even know who Acun is.

I'm puzzled why they can't administer their own rules on a Club who have broken them,it's utterly bizarre.

It is their rules , they decided to have an independent panel or whatever you call it
decide the punishment

Now don't ask me why they decided this , maybe some legal reason

Moving away from the investigation/hearing

After reading about scarfs hanging out of car windows for away trips are we all going to bring this back for Wembley. Maybe not those on train or bus though
I remember trains when you could pull the door window down. You could hang a scarf out but also useful to unscrew a light bulb and throw it at the trainspotters at Donny Station, erm, apparently.

Isn’t it something to do with that they can pursue criminal and disciplinary stuff and investigate thoroughly and get stuff like emails or phone records?

Love to see a City scarf fluttering from a car window. We’re on it. Scarf across the parcel shelf too.

What the fecking hell are these morons doing? Are they rewriting the Magna Carta or just taking the piss?...As someone has said on a different platform, can you imagine if it was Middlesbrough doing the spying on Southampton. The club from the North would have been thrown out in a jiffy. Clearly, to me, the panel are seeking reasons to keep the cheats in it.
