Would add it was interesting to listen to Simon Jordan’s second interview about this. The first one he was quite laid back about the whole thing, second one not so much. But he said that his old pal Gibo wouldn’t have been that bothered by the actual spying, but he wouldn’t have liked Saints reaction to it. If it had been the other way round people would’ve been sacked as soon as the news broke including the manager and if Saints had done that he thinks that would’ve been enough for Boro to not be that fussed any more
This is nonsense isn't it. How do you know who to sack? It assumes that you know exactly what happened and who was responsible, which if it were true means that the people doing the sacking knew and should therefore be sacked. The sacking has to be done by people who didn't know it was happening and therefore weren't culpable, so they would need to conduct an enquiry to work out what happened and who was responsible ...
Oh, wait a minute, isn't that what's happening ?!?!

Of course the other option is that everyone at the top was involved in the master plan to send an Intern to the training session to hide behind a tree with a mobile phone and to run away if he was challenged

How sad is it that I've pushed meetings to next week and renegotiated deadlines just so I can keep a closer eye today and tomorrow.
I am changing roles today within my company - nightmare trying to onboard with my new team and keep the other screen open for news. Luckily my new boss is a Saints fan so he is sending me Teams messages with "Any News?" every 10 mins :)

If the independent panel look at sanctions then they may look at a precedent set by FIFA already.

The Canadian Womens Football team were found guilty of spying at the 2024 Olympics. 6 point penalty for their group effectively knocking them out of the tournament , a fine , the coach banned for a year.

I wondered about the whole separate competition thing - do we know for sure the rule covers these additional games?

I imagine they do, but would be funny as **** if they didnt.
