Isn’t it 55mins and a change on tube!
I'm not sure DBT? I was looking there and it's about 20 minutes from Kings Cross to get to Hammersmith but from Hammersmith to Wembley you have to change at Green Park or Baker St....I'll probably end up winding my way down Baker St thinking about giving up the booze and the one night stands:emoticon-0103-cool:

So... let's say Soton get the boot. Do you consider playing Boro ( a team that "legitimized' Soton by playing them twice and ultimately losing to them) as a valid playoff final opponent or as a team getting another bite of the cherry?

No. Cross the road at Hammersmith, get on the over ground network (mildmay line I think, about 3 stops to Wembley )

To my mind it depends whether or not there is sufficient evidence to show they spied in other clubs too. If they did then the EFL can't repair things so to speak for all those clubs affected so the only right thing to do would be to expel Southampton and impose heavy fine.

My view will depend entirely on if the date gets moved to accommodate them :emoticon-0138-think

I thought you had a dream about buying some land.

Haven’t saints pleaded guilty to all charges???
The only question remaining is the punishment

Me and the lad went there the last time and it was really cheap(similar to Glasgow prices).Am I right in thinking it's just opposite the underground and when you're going back towards Wembley would you change at Green Park?

Colourblind like you and I have to ask for line and directions on the big maps in the stations <doh>

Isn't that why all the underground lines have a name too.

The sad thing for me is that whatever the outcome of all this it'll be forever tainted and the promoted team's right to be in the PL will always be questioned.

Soton should be kicked out of the league imo, not only for the cheating but for bringing the game into disrepute.

The charges are simply that they broke the two regulations -- 1) acting in good faith towards other clubs and 2) spying within 72 hours of a game. I don't think we know whether they've accepted the alleged previous spying incidents.

Absolutely not if it is us. If we win, whoever we end up playing, the whole football world will breathe a sigh of relief. But our chances of winning are diminished if the final is postponed. I don't think they are diminished if Southampton are replaced by Boro. I think we have a pretty equal chance against either of them, and if we play like we played against Millwall away, than actually I think we are favourites -- even if the bookies and pundits disagree with that.

Interesting (maybe) fact about the underground. Travelling from King's Cross to Heathrow I used the Elizabeth line because the picadilly line was closed cost £15.50
Coming back I got the picadilly line from Heathrow to King's Cross £5.90

For those new to using the underground, and just visiting for the day or weekend you can use your contactless bank card when you enter a station make sure you use the same card when you leave and its £2.90 (ish) for each single journey. If you make many single journeys in one day there is a maximum you will pay, I think that's about £9.

The level of punishment should be deferred until it’s known what Southampton stand to lose. Should they beat us then the punishment should be that the promotion is denied, plus any fines and possible points deduction for next season. If they lose, then the points deduction next season in the championship could be greater. Just kicking them out now could mean they face no punishment, as it’s possible they won’t win promotion anyway so they haven’t lost anything other than a fine.

Fair enough…I thought I had read they had admitted ALL charges ie…multiple / systematic offences but I could be wrong !
