Yes that is what you do.
You ‘assign’ two tickets to each member.
When the total tickets you want are in your basket there’s a ‘button’ (just the word assign really) that you click and pick the member name off your family and friends (and you) list.
Then it lets you proceed.
Took me being told to realise that too tbh
You would think they would put all this in the FAQs - and not think of a weird way to know what your points are!

I'm trying to cover every possible problem. I asked one friend what his date of birth was. He told me he'd used a birth date in his 40s although I know he's in his 60s. I asked him why? He said he's paranoid about giving correct information online!
He wants his brother in law to go to the match too but instead of giving me his details he's got his son to set up an account instead! He sent me a screenshot of his son's account which only showed his account number and first name I needed his account number and surname. I used my friend's surname but I couldnt match it. I told my friend. He said his son had also taken his wife's surname as well. Using both surnames didnt work either. He then said he had spelt his son's wife's surname wrongly. I used the revised surnames. I still couldnt find it. I have asked him to get his son to contact the ticket office and explain the problem but I dont think they want to make the effort. Hopefully I may not need the account.
Why do people make things so difficult?

Going to sound bit dopey here, but how do digital tickets work when you have 4? … at theatre somebody with a handheld scanner beeps all 4 before you walk past , but at a turnstile how do you do all 4?
4 people queue up? I had the same issue with friends who wanted to see an AFC Wimbledon match. I just printed off the tickets. It seemed simpler.

I assume they’ll come as separate digital tickets
I normally keep them all in my iPhone wallet (other phones are available!) as a back up then send a copy of individual tickets to the others.
You can send them by WhatsApp or email etc

I hope the ticketing system ticks the tickets off as they are used.
I was in a McDonald's and a lad showed his receipt to ask for food and they told him he'd already used it!

never been an attendance announcement clapper but it would be great to know how sales of our tickets are going. is this possible?

Maybe I’m just harsh, Pete, but I’d just tell them to get ****ed at this point for being so ****ing daft <laugh>

Just make sure you sort yourself out for tickets <ok>

Thanks. I am not eligible until Sunday morning.
This might help you Peter. It’s AI and you have done most of it already. Sorry if it looks complicated it isn’t really but it might save you time if you set up in advance.

Hull City Play-Off Final Tickets – Guide

1. Get Set Up (Hull City Hub)

• Ensure everyone has a Hull City Hub account and supporter ID.
• Tickets are mainly sold online via the club website.

2. Understand Ticket Sales

• Tickets are released in stages (e.g. Members first, then general supporters).
• There is usually a limit on how many tickets you can buy per transaction.

3. Add Family & Friends to Your Network

1. Log in to your account
2. Go to Account / Network (Friends & Family)
3. Add each person using their Supporter ID and surname
4. Save and confirm

Linking accounts allows you to buy tickets for others in one transaction.

4. Buying Tickets for Your Group

1. Select the match
2. Choose seats
3. Go to basket
4. Click "Reassign"
5. Assign tickets to each person
6. Checkout

Assign vs Manage (Important)

Assign

• Lets you allocate tickets to someone after purchase.
• Suitable for basic ticket sharing.

Manage

• Lets you buy tickets on behalf of someone else.
• Required for priority or restricted sales (e.g. play-off finals).

How to Change from Assign to Manage

1. Go to Network / Friends & Family
2. Select the person
3. Change permission from Assign to Manage
4. Send request
5. They accept via email

Top Tips

• Set all contacts to Manage before tickets go on sale
• Have supporter IDs ready
• Log in early
• Buy tickets together to sit together
• Double-check assignments before checkout

You are not harsh at all!
I'm asking them for money up front given the messing about and potential for more. My other friend was a dream to get linked so I'm not asking him to pay until I meet him on the day.
