And, in answer to your question OS, we have started early!!

Hello OS!The dust has hardly settled, but as we prepare to don our oxygen masks to once again breathe in this rarefied Championship atmosphere, we can't but help ponder what awaits us at this exalted level.
Being the new kids on the block next season, we'd like to think we'll be welcomed by old Championship adversaries if only for an easy 6 points ready for the taking, and prime candidates for going back where we've just come from.
When I look at the opposition we'll face such as yourselves, Swansea and the Gogs, I fear the best we can hope for is survival. Finishing 21st will be deemed satisfactory as long as the 3 aforementioned sides finish below us.
I'm sure there are a few on that side of the channel who will enjoy engaging with like minded posters over here throughout the season. In the meantime feel free to welcome us back.![]()
Hello OS!
Welcome back!
At least you will have the excitement of a basement battle to stimulate the nerves!
We, on the other hand, just have the mild curiosity around who we might get the occasional 3 points from as we march our way to a mid-table finish - that is unless Lansdown decides to spice things up a bit by NOT replacing Vitek of course………

All I can say is don’t go using us as a barometer for this years success.
Teams that are on a roll and who have been successful the previous season and achieved promotion often carry their form into the next seasonHi there R&W........
Not sure where your club is going pal. Seems to be stuck in a sort of swirling vortex of indecision at the top that's keeping you where you are. We actually made decisions, but unfortunately mostly the wrong ones and we suffered big time.
Struck lucky (I can't bring myself to believe it was all down to good judgement) with Brian Barry Murphy who performed virtual miracles with our youngsters at League One level. No reason to think he can't replicate that form now we're back in the Championship, but it could take a few astute more experienced acquisitions on the pitch to keep us here.
Looking forward to renewing old aquaintances on here after feeling less than qualified to comment last season in such exalted company....![]()
As long as you finish below us and Wrexham don’t get promoted to the Prem I’ll be happy !

We just know these things. Finishing above bcfc isn’t such a shout last season. There was some funny speaking bald european running the show who thought he could turn Sinclair Armstrong into a championship striker. in comes the wise man Hodgson and after minutes of seeing the Sink sink and as much use as a plaster over Cathy Barry’s twat he binned him. Bristol City were half decent with Roy the wise steering the ship. How would you possibly know that?
Anyway, I fear your reliance on dentistry to get you out that division is something of a longshot. Both Welsh clubs finished above you last season despite their alleged gum disease. Must be something to do with their feet rather than their oral hygene.
If you or your mates have any other stunning theories about how to beat the Championship opposition next season, please foward them to Brian Barry Murphy at CCFC as I'm sure he will need your help just as much as a good dentist.
Now for the rest of you over there less concerned with Molars and Incisors, can we have some Wisdom instead?

I’m assuming BBMs parents were Irish (given the surname) and couldn’t decide whether to call him Bryan or Barry ?Yes, and proud to be Welsh as well, whilst at the same time being conversant with English grammar - it's "You're" by the way. The teeth you've got may be all yours pal, but I doubt you've got any wisdoms left.
For your information, the only things we hunt with sticks on the beaches these days are the boat people arriving from Bristol in search of a better life.
Despite the banter, I wish you good fortune in your footballing quest next season - but not too much and not as much as us.![]()

Just don't chance bringing a camera and keep away from our training ground or you'll be starting 4 points behind us next season..............
Which marina is that then, we've got more than one over here you know? Don't bother to come to Porthcawl though - the only Marina we've got here is a 1974 Morris 1.8TC with a brown vinyl roof........
Penarth is probably your best bet, but don't go too far west toward Swansea or you'll come back to your car up on bricks and the wheels gone. If you want real bargain, there's a sanctioned Russian oligarch's yacht moored by the Geest bannana stores in Barry Dock.
As for meeting up for a pint, many thanks for the offer but I prefer to protect my anonymity at the moment since my name was mentioned in the Epstein files - I know too much for my own good.![]()
It’s in Cardiff Bay.
Not sure if I’ll bother now tbh - the guy can’t meet me until 4pm after work and I’m not ready to buy right now anyway.
I don’t want to spend all day in Cardiff waiting for 4pm.

If people want to think that then they’re welcome. In other words you're time waster.............![]()
