The amount of points dropped just isn't on, no matter the excuses that are trotted out.

It is worrying that the owners seem to think this is ok and we just carry on next season.

Dominated that game but as too often this season flopped at the final ball. Forest very lucky to draw that but if you only score one it’s always open. Overall good performance but just not good enough. Botman excellent, Ramsay did well when he came on, needs to do more when he starts. The much maligned Barnes scores again. Can’t say anyone played badly really.
Murphy again the weakest though

What happened to the steely determination we once had, the never say die attitude, the ****housery?

We are a set of absolute fannies now, bullied by every team.

Im so ****ing done with Howe. Had his time, did remarkably well, but it’s all so stale. Playing four players out of position when he literally picked 352 players was incredible even by his standards. Not a terrible performance or result, not knee jerk, but it’s just the same week in, week out. It’s tired, predictable, boring, ineffective. That they will stick with him tells you as much about the ambitions as the training ground no-news. Going to be a tough 6-8 months at least.

Tbh the more I look at the side Howe is building the more I realise we're in for a seriously bad upcoming season. It's the fact most of the other clubs have evolved and their recruits have been given time and seem to be beginning to flourish.. Newcastle are stale beyond description.

I genuinely expect a proper relegation battle next season... I said we'd struggle for 40 points this season in October, so it's not out of the question.

Don't worry Howe is already prepping for next season. Murphy RW, Hall RB, Burn LB. Wolt, Ramsey and Wissa on the bench.
So looking forward to robot Howe again next year. To top if off he'll play Timber in goal as his No1

Pope ****, Ramsdale somehow worse. No right back to be seen. No backup for Hall. No defensive midfielder, no CAM, awful wingers particularly the right (and Howe has stated we will see the best of Elanga next season, meaning we aren’t going to address that) same with Wissa. He’s playing players he would’ve sold bar injuries in Osula and Willock.

It’s a ****ing total mess. This lot couldn’t fight for anything, I would fear the very worst if they need to be in a relegation fight. Summer looks like we will buy maybe 3 players, 4 most. It’s going to be a disaster.

Roly's posts on match day threads are quite the thing, I assume his head will explode through sheer rage any second

We're **** and that's the bottom line... The fact such a huge amount was spent is actually mental... Howe seems to have a different excuse every time....oh sorry he was given the money in massive chunks that must be why.

Does that mean Pope will be here next season?

There's not going to the huge summer people seem to be anticipating... We'll probably sell 2 key players and buy 3 to 5 players... The 5 players will be the same kind of crap we've signed since Ashworth left.
