Superb today. One of the best performances this season. Excellent intensity, excellent control, excellent defending, excellent.

Another day we win, but man, 48 points in our first season and seeing us play like that at the end of it against the top form and third placed team in the league..

In any case, we never win when Stuart Atwell is "refereeing" our games.
Indeed! And he lived up to firm today. Although Angulo was lucky!! But then so were Mount and Dorgu!!!

Shock from MOTD. No mention of Amad's handball or Shaw dragging down Brobbey but discuss why Angulo should've been sent off!
I was fuming watching that. Didn't even show the handball incident or Shaw's assault, never mind discuss them. Probably why I stopped watching it. Really wish I hadn't tonight.

No mention of how many chances we created compared to them, just hints that they thought Man Utd had dropped off in their performance levels since they secured the Champions League place. Thankfully, Carrick, to his credit, put them right.

"The weather is awful and the football isn't much better" yeah righto because it's not 4-2 at half time it must be a crap game.

There was plenty of quality football in that game and barely a dull moment.

Was a decent effort from Sadiki early on btw, went for the near post and struck it well but the keeper read it well. Would have been a fantastic goal if he hadn't.

The little **** who commentated should be sacked for that alone.

Watched the BBC video and no mention of the penalty appeal in the first half. Quel surprise! A major talking point of the first half ignored as it's against Man U. Pathetic.
Gave up on MOTD years ago after we dominated them and drew 2-2 with Catts and Borini. The editing to make them look better was shocking. Joke of a show.

I always remember the toss pot Neville doing a 9.8 dive in the box trying to con the ref for a penalty, yellow card for cheating and a free kick to Sunderland.... unfortunately the BBC crew lost the footage of that for match of the day. Always been a rancid program.

? Mags away? West Ham at home? City and Arsenal at home?

Best performance for a few weeks. Not best if the season by any stretch! (And we did play very well)
I get your point but to my mind, that was better than all of those games as we bossed it from start to finish and created some excellent chances. Didn’t win the game but in the games you refer to we had spells where the opposition were on top.

At no stage in the game were United on top.

Atwell was his usual abysmal self.

Back home, what a performance that was.
Outplayed man utd for the full game, they were chasing shadows at times, and taking a point totally flatters them.

Met some great people from on here in the fans museum, and couple on my way there and in the ground. All in all, a great day...just wish we could have got the goal our play deserved.

Had me tea, a pork balti I made this morning, rice, tomato, onion and coriander, mango chutney, and a garlic naan.

Now ready to watch the Motherwell vs Hearts match.

(A gratuitous picture of me tea...just because it was lush).
