I think Azaz is good when Saints are playing on the front foot but becomes rather anonymous when we are under the cosh. Thought Flynn was a bit meh today after coming back into the side and the less said about Fellows the better, lovely lad but for my money simply not good enough in defence and particularly one-dimensional going forward.I think Stewart has to start - Larin was just too poor; properly awful - but Charles is a more difficult one. He's obviously good enough to start, but so are Flynn and Jander. And until we've played the first 10 minutes on Tuesday, we won't know if it's the good Azaz or the bad Azaz.
Matsuki I expect comes in for Fellows.

You need to take a comically large pair of binoculars, and a very long pretend microphone, with you.Phew, I can face grandsons and the ‘lads’ at WF on Monday. That spying malarky is overrated.
Wow, what happened to Larin today?! As soon as Stewart came on and we got higher up the pitch we looked a threat and pushed Boro back. Could even have knocked that.

Azaz was fine against Man City and obviously scored but he's hit and miss and seems a bit, I dunno... fragile? At Championship level he's clearly an asset because he'll score goals in games we need to win but if we were to go up I'd want us to sign someone else to play in that position.I think Azaz is good when Saints are playing on the front foot but becomes rather anonymous when we are under the cosh. I agree Stewart for Larin ( who wasn't at the races today )
In that case I apologise for this comment - I was obviously unaware of this.He has a speech impediment and has been dealing with a stammer since he was little, I believe
Did you call me a rude wordI take back my earlier comment then. Feel bad about it now.
No I was taking the piss out of Ayling.Did you call me a rude word![]()
Seems reasonable as well as what Ayling said. Hopefully the punishment is the end of this and we move on.You must log in or register to see media
He was actually really good.No I was taking the piss out of Ayling.
He was undoubtedly poor but you also can’t look past the fact that Boro completely ran out of steam and so we were naturally superior and more advanced throughout the second halfWow, what happened to Larin today?! If you get a chance to watch a replay, you will find Larin's best work was when he tracked back and defended. He was undoubtedly poor but you also can’t look past the fact that Boro completely ran out of steam and so we were naturally superior and more advanced throughout the second half
Tuesday is another final, we’re getting used to those! Pretty glad we came back strong and hopefully all fit for whatever formation Tonda chooses. Ok so some sub-par performances but no actual damage done!!100%. Not sure the answers for Tuesday, but all the subs made a huge difference today
