I thought we created more space wide but never really did a lot with it only really the misguided header from McBurnie .

Yeah Millar was very wasteful and Belloumi went down too easily. Had the pace to beat his fullback but just never backed himself after the first 10 minutes.

Compared to last time we played them, Joseph and Millar had them on toast all game.

Slightly surprised by the response on here. I thought it was a good competitive game of football. Neither side did enough to win it, but neither side deserved to lose either.

Think we’ve shown that we could get the result on Monday, but equally so have they.

I enjoyed it. It was never going to be easy.

If Bannon plays on Monday we're in trouble. The one thing lacking from City's squad this season is that one player who says 'give me the ball and you run into an area I can pass it to'... I hope Crooks has got it in him for another 90. He was just outstanding tonight. I appreciate the nerves tonight would have been immense and hopefully Monday now becomes a nothing to lose situation.

Yep it’s like the Norwich game. Show up or go home.

Completely agree with that.

I'd be tempted with Ajayi back in too to deal with the physicality of Coburn, Hughes really struggled with him
Egan challenged him once at the end smashed him on the hip, then cya later off he went Hughes needs to learn the dark arts and stop moaning there was a reason Coburn was on Hughes all night.

Reports of a slashing...not confirmed but sounding like the police have not done a good job

I feel for the police tonight. They would have wanted to hold them back and pen them to the station. But with the time and the only way out of Hull tonight being rattlers to Donny they needed to get them moving quicker. Otherwise they would be all over town centre all night waiting for a morning train.

It was a really difficult game to manage from their point of view. You cant force fans to come on a bus.

An extra later train to London would of sorted this....but common sense and practical solutions tend not to happen these days ?
Special Trains for football fans aren't exactly a new thing.

Police could easily have kept Millwall fans in even just for 10 minutes. Instead fed them up onto the bridge then decided to hold both fans. They then let the Millwall fans through before hundreds of city fans stormed up the stairs and I imagine all hell broke loose after that. If I was going as a family on Monday I’d be scared

Very much a game which you would expect for a first leg tie. I enjoyed the game, both teams could have won it, but a draw a fair result. All the play for Monday.

Crooks was excellent tonight, but Millar and Joffy were poor, I can see them being replaced Monday.

In a way maybe a 0-0 going into Monday is not a bad thing, if we had won, maybe we would have tried to preserve the lead rather than going for it. and sat back, which might have been dangerous.
