Personally think we may regret this. Been good the vast majority of time he has played. Is it we do not want him? Is it a case of he wants away as he has not got as many games as he wanted?
I still trust RLB and Ghisolfi know what they are doing so we move on.
He should be phasing Hume out of the side
A RB who can deputise at CB and DM for 20m euros.

Yeah would make sense to trigge the clause and keep him, unless he isn't happy and doesn't want to stay.
Potentially, I don't think he's particularly good at either CB or in midfield or at least not good enough.
After that he's a second/third choice RB depending on how much you rate Hume. If we can sign a natural CB and midfielder we're probably in a better place.

Hume is worth 20 million plus in today’s market
He’s underrated & a reason why Geertruda can’t get a game.
Humes saved us the fee, why replace him when he’s a better right back.
The lad gets stick because he’s not a big name or has cost a big fee

Not a chance! RLB rates him really highly by the amount of minutes he gets. The journey he has had here I bet he loves the club

I’m in the camp that I wouldn’t sign Geertruida.
He’s clearly a very good player and I’d say better than Hume. Although it’s clear we are ambitious and we’ll invest however I would prioritise other positions. The cost per minute (wages and transfer fee) of him vs Hume is likely quite large and isn’t justifiable
If we could find a mirror image of him, but whose primary position was left back, I’d be over the moon.

Thing is with that cost per minute thing you are saying, not like he is a sick note is it?
Fans have scratched their head and wondered why he hasn't played more all season. I rate Hume very highly when considering where he came from and where he is playing now, he doesn't look out of place but he is probably the weakest link at the back.
I think problem has been Nordi has been excellent and they haven’t wanted to play him in cm cause they have been wanting to give Diarra plenty of time. Look at Le Fee playing on the wings to accommodate Diarra, if that happening then Geertruida has no chance of getting in there!
Someone on here said he was happy to come on perm after the loan. Otherwise I would think they knew he was off so wanted to give our lads time over him. Diarra came highly rated and is our record fee but Geertruida has shown more and it all should be irrelevant as it should be Le Fee with Xhaka and Sadiki in the middle!
I am very much a get Gurty in on a permanent. Been class every time and with a run of games in him I would find a place for him. Not sure where but if we are aiming to progress then we need strength in depth and he fits the bill in my humble opinion.
