For five months last year, from May to the end of August, we walked around with grins on our faces and a deep, warm glow in our proud chests. But tbf, halfway through September, even though we were still unbeaten, a lot of us thought "hang on, this isn't quite right." We'd excused our poor form in May as the team being on the piss. No problems, so were we.

But six or seven games in, whilst we expected teething problems with that many new signings, only Ekitike actually looked class. Yet the new signings weren't the biggest problem, imo. Szobo and Gravy aside, everyone, including Macca, Mo, Konate, and, yes, even Virgil, was underwhelming, to say the least. 'Oh, it's Jota,' said a few, and understandably. But by October/November, we could see that this team was dead on its feet, frequently outrun and outfought by the opposition, and clueless about its identity. And that, I'm afraid, isn't about new signings or Jota - it's about a half-fit side that isn't being coached properly.

It took the other PL teams those first five games to spot it.

Congratulations Arsenal. Can you get one step further than you've ever done before? Big ask considering the other two still in the tournament imo but in a one-off game, anything can happen.

Dilemma for me...

I'd like PSG to retain the CL because they're an extremely good side that is 100% worthy of that sort of accolade. On the other hand, Kane winning it to deny Arsenal seems quite funny <laugh>

I'd support any English team in the final apart from United, City, and Chelsea. Wouldn't support Everton, but I may as well say I wouldn't support Harrogate Town as much as them, as that is the same likelihood to appear in a CL final.

I can't bring myself to support arsenal in the final. They are just by far to boring.

Watching both psg and Bayern this season is a delight.

Oh, I'd definitely support Everton if they got to any final. Loads of blue family & friends. If we can't bring something home, I'd love to see Everton doing it instead.

Usually the same but arsenal fans are intolerable, especially if they somehow get a double

Arsenal wont be the better team in the final thats for sure, Bayern or PSG will out play them easily and if it were two legs that would be the winner. However I can see Arsenal being stubborn enough to win a one off game.

It’s a bore fest but I can’t knock them, I’d take their position every day of the week to ours!

I had Bayern to win it at the beginning of the season and still think that'll be the case.

You have to do what you have to do to get there, but watching Arsenal collapse on to the ball and the ref falling for it time and time again just doesn't sit well. It was a little easier to take as it was against the previous kings of the ****housery.

Looking forward to the game tonight.

Psg been in control the whole game. ... Actually defended within themselves very well.
Both teams have had aot of shots. PSG are hitting the target, but Neuer is saving them. Bayern are missing and by miles. Their shooting is all over the place.

There's actually been more shots so far in this match than the entire first leg that final finished 5-4

Bayern just couldn't do anything lethal up top.. tbf to PSG... They've forced it all to be ...too quick... Too soft a shot..

Actually makes me think Arsenal will get dicked.... Psg look more grown up as a team than just the kamikaze attack.

I really do rate this PSG team, I think they could end being seen in similar light to Barca a few years back. Can't see a weakness
