PAUL Nardi, Ben Hamer and Isaac Hayden will leave QPR following the conclusion of their contracts this summer.

To be honest sad to see Nardi go, thought he was our best keeper for long periods, I think it’s simply because he doesn’t get on with Julien nothing more nothing less

The stats back that up, but don't think either were that great

Neither are quite up to it but Walsh has age on his side and might be an asset of some sort one day even as a decent #2. Nardi has been an expensive waste of space for most of his time here. Maybe learn to step off your line and catch a cross after a decade of goalkeeping ffs. Adieu.

Hamer seemed a good bloke to have around. Not up to it either despite a great debut but a classic experienced #3 who isn’t really meant to play actual football.

There was a time when Nardi was touted as a good example of what Nourry aspired to. Get' em in cheap, fatten ' em up and sell 'em on at vast profit? That was part and parcel of 'the project'. What happened?

I think we are likely in for a frugal transfer window unless we can raise some significant sums through player disposals

I'm already bracing myself for the excitement of a 15th placed finish in the 26/27 Championship

Not that upset Nardi is leaving, but given this was obviously planned I feel we should have sold him for a price last season.

Having seen his fear of crosses I’m not surprised we didn’t get any offers. I’m sure he would have been sold if we could find a buyer. Not sure I buy this ‘Julien didn’t like him’ story either, could have been that had he hit a certain number of appearances a contract extension, which we wouldn’t want at all, would have been triggered. Just speculating.

We have said good bye to 3 players who have finished their contracts.

But not said goodbye to Norrington-Davies at the end of his loan...oversight or is there something going on.

Something is going on, I did see a few days ago that we were working on a deal to keep him.
If he was leaving I find it a little strange H/Q haven't interviewed him to ask him what he thought about his loan move. Apparently he has played more minutes this season for us than the previous 4 years at Sheffield Utd. Plus JS wants more experience, so everything is pointing in the same direction.

We might as well sack Nourry’s legion of algorithm nerds if we really don’t think we can sign a better left-back than him. Surely the assistant to the regional head of performance analytics has found an Icelandic second division full-back with an acceptable high intensity sprints per 90 number to slot in easily.

Perhaps Nourray has learnt that there are a few more things to Football than pure numbers.

Belief, confidence, team spirit, and "possibly" even experience
