I agree. It is hard to see how we get out of this without a change of manager. The players don’t seem to really know how to manage games anymore, square pegs in round holes, yes injuries have been awful this season but we have been poor in so many areas

Weirdly Brentford might actually need to lose to us so we finish above Villa and push Villa to 5th which would give6th place a CL spot (if Villa go on to win Europa league).

All very odd.

clearing your box as a PL / National team player is a given but half our players don't seem to have the ability to actually do that - which has nowt to do with coaching and i'm not sure much of that is taking place

Just a point about Frimpong and people saying Slot is playing him out of position. Yes and no. He's not a full back. He's played his football as a wing back, which is part rw and part RB. Right from the start, before he ever played, Slot said he could cover for Salah. He was bought to be a bit of both.

We've had injuries but I wouldn't say we've had an excessive about, nor as a particular area of the pitch been massively effected bar RB. Slot just refusing to trust certain players so we end up with, as you say, square pegs in round holes.

Just all down to luck though innit...

I'm probably a bit harsh on Frimpong but... if you take his pace away, what is he good at?

This is part of the problem we have a manager that doesn't understand his own players.
 
On the injury front, just look at today. 2 right backs out, 2 keepers out, 2 strikers out, plus Salah. When your having to field 3rd choice in 3 positions, you're not going to be your best

That bit shocked me when i read the team sheets before the game, i had never heard of the lad.

Especially when they've been frozen out all season because the manager doesn't trust them.

Let's not pretend those "third choice" players aren't internationals.
