3-0 down - have to blame the kid Scarlett, he’s done nothing

Well that's good enough for me in the prediction league <laugh>

We seem to be gifting Ipswich the automatic promotion slot after coughing up two early goals. So it looks like in Prediction League I will at least secure the correct outcome, but not necessarily score (3-1). This is the one and only time that I have "bet" against my team!
So near, yet so far - still, more points than kiwi :emoticon-0148-yes:

Only saw from the Bennie chance after keeper parried Smyth's shot..... Charity Park Rangers in full evidence for their 3rd.... hey ho.... 15th is ours.....

Holiday time and not a lot of attention to be given to play offs, maybe just a cursory watch of Spurs relegation.....

I’m still struggling to see what Varane gives us. A lot rate him but I just see him giving the ball away, losing the ball to a man-on and passing back. A couple of little cameos in a season is nowhere near enough. We need something better in the middle with Madsen.

Oh well, another nationwide embarrassment on Sky, we were never in it or looked remotely threatening. Unless we get a serious injection of backbone in the close season we're going to be struggling yet again, there's zero depth to our squad and the kids are not up to it. 58 points and 15th place more or less bang on our ten year average. The verdict for this season is must do better...

Walsh signed his own departure ticket today with spilling that ball .

Ipswich MoM Gavin Ward. Yes I know we were never going to win, yes I know we weren't good, yes I know we deserved to lose but I mean!!!!

The Chair "handball"; the foul on Smyth given the other way....and the cherry on top with seconds still left on the clock, blowing up for full time when we actually get the ball into an attacker free in the box.

I think for the first time all season I got a score right in the prediction league

I thought Walsh was pretty good today. Smith looked decent, too.

Apparently it's the first time in the club's history that Rangers have lost the last four games of a season.

Just back from a rare away day for me.

I did reflect that the last time I attended the last day of the season at an away ground was 2004 when Holloway's QPR won promotion from L1 back into the Championship. An omen? Sadly, not a good one!

Ipswich were clearly the better side by a considerable margin, but only because the usual QPR team turned up instead of the side we've seen just a few times this season that is capable of beating most teams in the Championship.

Somewhat as expected, the inconsistent (generous) Gavin Ward was, well, his usual self.

No player in the first half deserves any great mention. Smyth brought a bit more energy but no where near enough. However, massive credit to Smyth for taking ages to chat to our fans, pose for selfies etc.

A disappointing afternoon. Ipswich were heavy favourites but it would have wonderful to have a bit of excitement by taking them to 2:1 for a nervy finish.

The disappointed is somewhat mitigated by Wrexham finishing 7th!!

Let's see what happens over the summer but, just at the moment, I can't see any reason for us to be doing any better.

Have a great summer, one and all. I'll get the first game predictor ready when the playoffs are done and dusted.

Second season in a row finishing 15th, albeit 2 points better this year. Slowly but surely.
