8 minutes Corner to County which is cleared allowing Rovers to counter which also comes to nothing

10th minute Tsaroulla is yellow carded County appealed for a penalty against Mola but the ref said he dived

11th minute ref is not popular with the home fans as Harbottle and Senior both looked to have handled the ball but the ref gave Rover a foul instead

12th minute a Forde shot is pushed behind for a corner with Harrison just unable to touch it in from the rebound

Newport, Cheltenham and Harrogate losing losing 1 - 0

16th minute Balmer blocks a Jones cross out for a corner which Young punches the corner clear

21st minute Forde yellow carded for a foul to stop a county breakaway

24th minute Luker shoots straight at Young

26th minute Tsaroulla scores for County Notts County 1 - 0 Rovers

38th minute Balmer chests a poked effort from Luker of the line, the home fans appeal for a penalty which the ref ignores

42nd minute a Harrison cross finds Omochere at the back post but his effort is blocked

HT subs Akhamrich and Leigh on De Havilland and Omochere off

Rovers get the 2nd half started

48th minute a Jatta shot is blocked after a quick counter by County

53rd minute Leigh in space finds Forde wide on the left but his right footed shot goes just past the post

55thminute a Leigh ball finds Harrison who takes a touch and then fires one passed Belshaw Notts County 1 - 1 Rovers

58th minute a Balmer long throw is not fully cleared and a Leigh cross is headed away

62nd minute Senior wins a corner which is delivered by Sparkes but the ref blows for a foul on a county defender

66th minute Mola cynically fouls Tyrese Hall and is yellow carded , free kick 30yards out from goal

69th minute a Forde cross is a little to heavy for Harrison to divert goal wards

70th minute Howley getting ready to come on for Rovers and he replaces Mola in the 71st minute

Leigh has dropped deeper playing alongside Smallwood with Howley playing as a number 10

77th minute Akhamrich yellow carded for foul on the half way line and Quigley preparing to come on

79th minute Quigley and Cavegn on Harrison and Forde off

80th minute Rovers win the ball back and Leigh finds Akhamrich in space who puts his shot inches wide

86th minute Bedeau nets for County but Rovers saved by the linesman's flag for offside

89th minute Lorpenda shoots well over the bar

90th minute Cavegn finds space on the left but his shot is blocked out for throwin which Balmer takes but is claimed by Belshaw

90+3 Akhamrich and Sparkes both have crosses cleared, County defending well

Thanks for the updates old timer - it was a pretty good away performance against a good team who had everything to play for. We were second best in the first half but the introduction of Leigh made a big difference. It would be good to retain his services for next season. Both Forde and Akamrich should have scored but Ellis showed them how to do it with a great finish. We’ve got to extend his contract as a priority.

And watching on Sky, I thought the 1800 Gasheads in attendance were in very fine voice - they outsung the home fans through much of the match.
 
Evans has already said he would like to get Akhamrich back , if leigh would also come back it would give us some serious creativity which we have not had for a long time and I believe Balmer is a free agent so he would be very welcome as well
