Sunderland travel to the Molineux Stadium to face Wolves in the Premier League.
Last time out Sunderland lost at home to Forest beat and Wolves lost at home to Spurs.
Sunderland lost 5-0 at home to Nottingham Forest, who took a huge step towards Premier League survival with a big win at Sunderland to go eight points clear of the bottom three. The visitors opened the scoring in the 17th minute when Igor Jesus' back-post header deflected in off Sunderland defender Trai Hume.
They doubled their lead in the 31st minute after Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs' pass was intercepted and Chris Wood was able to finish.
Three minutes later Morgan Gibbs-White powerfully found the bottom corner after being teed up by Igor Jesus' header.
In the 37th minute the Brazil striker smashed a loose ball into the net following a corner.
And Forest netted a fifth in second-half stoppage time through Elliot Anderson's low strike on the counter-attack.

Joao Palhinha's late strike earned Tottenham their first Premier League win since December but failed to ease their relegation fears. Roberto de Zerbi's side looked like climbing out of the drop zone after substitute Palhinha prodded in from close range at already relegated Wolves only for Callum Wilson's strike to earn the Hammers an injury-time victory in their match.
The nerves from the visitors were obvious as they looked for a first top-flight win since December but they still dominated a forgettable first half, although desperately lacked quality.
They had little to build on at the break and Simons wasted a good chance when he fired over after skipping past Matt Doherty before he was carried off with a knee injury.
Jose Sa's fine stop denied Rodrigo Bentancur but Palhinha forced in the winner with seven minutes left and Kinsky's injury-time save from Joao Gomes sealed victory.

Regis le Bris:
“When we are not at the level expected you get punished really quickly because they have good players and are well organised and pressed well, they were really efficient on set pieces.
“We tried to play under pressure, probably with a bit of naivety because it wasn’t possible, so the game was really open and we conceded first.”
“Yeah, we have a set up with different layers I can’t say that it worked because it’s clear that they targeted thus area. Its not the first time this season to be fair and we thought about adaptations but today it didn’t work.”
“You can’t complain, you can’t look for excuses, you just have to go forward and in the second half this was the ambition, at least a fight, at least show you have a strong energy, you are proud to be a Sunderland player and our fans they are behind us.

Rob Edwards:
“Considering what’s happened to us this week, I thought the players fought really hard, and more than matched that intense effort.
“In the second half, we were the better team, we were pushing, and it really hurts to concede in the manner that we did and lose the game.”
“It was going to be a moment of magic, a free-kick that could go in the top corner, or it was going to be second phase from the corner, where one or two people just switched off, and it’s a really tight offside call.”

My two pence:
Hopefully it can’t get any worse than our last game.
Wolves are already relegated with only pride to play for, we need to be on our game to get a result here, they did cause us a lot of problems early on at the SoL despite the 2-0 win. They still have a problem taking their chances and may that continue at the weekend.
I’m going for a 1-0 away win.

I put us down for a draw even though we should win. They are down there for a reason. Will happily lose points on the predictor to get the win.
Pretty sure we normally do OK with this ref but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
Getting closer to your summer break RTB. A massive thank you for doing this.

Thanks again RTB for your MDT,s We can spring back to form with an away win here, but as we have found , we cant take anything for granted in this league. I agree with Tees we need to be a bit more adventurous with our team selections now and again, but it is not RLB,s style at all. The subs he made in the last game were laughable and just no were near good enough imo., but we live in hope. OaU

Injuries permitting, Regis will pick the same eleven as last friday to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

They won't.

Fortunately our form will pick up in the play-offs when games matter again.

Thanks RTB for another great thread . We hope the lessons have been learned from Friday so we can go forward and finish with a bang. big enough to get everyone dreaming again of a top eight finish, none of us want the season to end with a whimper. I also want to see Myender given a chance with a full strength team , along with the two new signings a good half hours run out if they have recovered from injuries in time
