Man City had to throw everything at Saints to win.

The cup run was a test for the Premier League and Saints passed easily.

All of them played well but Jander, Welington, Wood and THB stood out for me. Gerrard trying to sell Jander during the game was a highlight

Well the FA got what they wanted. City through to a final. The lads were ****ing immense today. A fluke goal and a wonder goal to win it is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

Everyone of them played brilliantly.

We took the game to City and didn't look out of our depth at all.

Proud, proud, proud.

I'm of the opinion that playing on a neutral ground doesn't count....

That said, losing to City in a cup semi-final having push them to 80 minutes is not a bad way for it to end.

Now we can (to use a cliche) focus on the league.

Yes it was - it was a better goal than their winner, in terms of the build up play and the final shot. But of course the TV pundits give MoM to the city guy for putting his head down and thumping it, good goal though it was.
Anyway, really proud of the team today.
