Competition - Sky Bet Championship
Venue - Carrow Road
Date - 25 April 2026
Kick off - 3pm

Following their 2-0 away victory over QPR, next up for Vitor Matos’ Swansea squad is the final away match of the season, a trip to Norfolk to play Norwich City and a reunion with former Swans defender Harry Darling.

I’m going for a comfortable 3-1 home win: hope I’m wrong <cheers>

Last November Norwich were down and out, bottom but one in the table with 3 wins from 18 matches.
Liam Manning was sacked, Philippe Clement took over and there was a dramatic turnaround in results.

His tenure to date 16 wins and 3 draws from 26 matches and ninth in the table on 64 points.

Norwich are a strong side at home with 6 wins and 1 draw from their last 10 home games.

Swansea have 4 wins and 1 draw from their last 10 away matches, but they have improved lately with a draw and 2 wins in their last 3 away matches.

I forecast a 2-2 draw.

Swansea City make five changes for Saturday's meeting with Norwich City at Carrow Road, with Zan Vipotnik among those to come into the starting line-up.

Striker Vipotnik, the Championship's leading scorer, is joined by Joel Ward, Marko Stamenic, Malick Yalcouye and Jisung Eom.

Sam Parker misses out through injury, while Jay Fulton, Melker Widell, Leo Walta and Adam Idah are named among the substitutes, as is injury returnee Josh Key.

Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, with Ward joining captain Ben Cabango, Cameron Burgess and Josh Tymon in the Swansea defence.

Stamenic and Yalcouye slot in alongside Goncalo Franco in the middle of the park.

Ronald and Eom will occupy the wings, with Vipotnik leading the line for the visitors.

Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Joel Ward, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Marko Stamenic, Goncalo Franco, Malick Yalcouye; Ronald, Jisung Eom, Zan Vipotnik.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Melker Widell, Liam Cullen, Leo Walta, Ricardo Santos, Ollie Cooper, Adam Idah.

Norwich City: Vladan Kovacevic, Jack Stacey, Harry Darling, Pelle Mattsson, Liam Gibbs, Anis Ben Slimane, Kenny McLean (captain), Paris Maghoma, Jose Cordoba, Kellen Fisher, Mohamed Toure.

Substitutes: Daniel Grimshaw, Ruairi McConville, Jacob Wright, Amankwah Forson, Ali Ahmed, Sam Field, Jeffrey Schlupp, Mathias Kvistgaarden, Errol Mundle-Smith.

Apart from Tymon, that back 4 looks slow ….

Two games left, Vip had a 5 goal lead as Championship top scorer. Let's hope it stays that way.

Charlton beat Hull 2 - 1 and have secured safety, which is great for our last game at home as they'll have nothing to play for.
