You are right.
I think I missed Bell for you :emoticon-0111-blush

I will re-check all the other scores too for the Ipswich game and post an update no later than this evening.

Here we go again. NJ is tight-lipped about our injured players, but Bell and Godden looked unlikely to make it, so-

Kaminski,
Sichenji, Jones, Gillesphey;
Ramsay, Doc, Coady, Knibbs, Chambers;
Fevrier, Leaburn.

1-0 Charlton (got to happen eventually)

Charlton 1 hull 2 (last minute heartbreak)

Further apologies chaps - I made two errors in the Ipswich scores <doh>

1 point rightfully added to the scores of the Penguin & PuttersCAFC.
It was Bell in both cases, I developed a blind spot to him it seems...

Scores now corrected.

Campbell comes on later. I think he's started or been a sub coming on in every league game this season.

Jones seemed less downcast about the injuries in an interview with Rich Cawley yesterday, so leaving Bell and TC in.

Charlton 1-1 Hull

Will post this weekend's predictions shortly...
Just had another idea, which might increase participation next season :emoticon-0126-nerd:

We will still have a bonus star for predicting all 11 team members :emoticon-0171-star:
but next season will have a separate award for a correct result and score prediction. Maybe a <ok>

And I will do two separate prediction tables;
One for team predictions, the other for result / score predictions.

That will mean any member who would prefer just to predict the result & score for each game (not the team) can compete in the result / score league table, independently of the team prediction league table.

It was suggested a while ago an extra point for predicting the scorer?

We can have a Summer deadline for ideas (say, 30th June)
Then all the ideas can be listed on one post, and we'll try to elect the most popular ones with a poll.
A special temporary thread can be created for the poll, so all members can find it easily.

Then we could maybe use the last couple of pre-season games as 'dry runs' to see if the new prediction leagues seem to work.
As mentioned before I think a few innovations will be good, as long as they don't mean the results take a lot longer to calculate.

I would not be a fan of 'betting shop' stuff like corners, yellow cards, throw-ins etc.
And definitely no predictions of xG :emoticon-0172-mooni

No more stars this weekend, but better team predictions all round...

Lardy ..... 9 for the team :emoticon-0169-dance

The Penguin ..... 8 for the team + 1 for correct result = 9

Ubedizzytoo & Smudger603 ..... 8 for the team

Watameire & PuttersCAFC ..... 7 for the team

PuttersCAFC & the Penguin both included one player not chosen by anyone else (not the same player of course),
so they would have picked up a bonus, if we were operating that rule.

Will @Watameire be presented with his trophy on the pitch after the Swansea game ?
I still don’t think mathematically I’m over the line yet but if I win in Wales perhaps I’ll be presented with the Inaugural “I used to scout for my dad” prediction trophy? I might even give an acceptance speech or something

Let’s not start down the “not mathematically safe” route again.

I’ve had enough of that since February and have been pulling my hair out with people saying we’d definitely go down, we’re sh*t, Jones is a useless pr*ck etc etc :emoticon-0121-angry

Congratulations <cheers> :emoticon-0167-beer:
