Match Preview;
Our visitors on Tuesday night, Swansea City, have lost two, drawn two and won one in their last five games. Their top scorer, and most obvious thread, is Zan Vipotnik, who has 21 league goals so far this season...so is also the highest scorer in the division. Sorry to have a moan, but honestly, what is it about us...Zan Vipotnik is a Slovenian striker, called Zan, who has been banging in the goals since joining Swansea in August 2024...30 goals in 90 games...with 23 coming this season. We signed a Slovenian striker, called Zan, who scored 2 in 21 games, before being loaned out. What is it about us? They sit 15th, on 57 points, so only a point behind us, but 4 places behind us.

As for us, after our 2-0 loss at Millwall, it is mathematically impossible for us to achieve anything this year, although realistically, most of us gave up on that quite a few games ago. We have surpassed our points total from last season (56), so that is a positive, but these last few games should, in my opinion, be used as training exercises to give players experience, try some new tactics, and ideally finish the season with some wins to carry a good feeling into the summer break. Our top scorer, Rumarn Burrell (10 goals), should be back from injury now, and he is only a goal ahead of Richard Kone, so that could be an interesting competition if they are in any way motivated by being the club's top scorer.

Team news and manager comments to go up if on the official, as always, add what you know...I'm still frustrated and bemused by the 'Zan' comparatives...infuriating.

Enjoy if you'll make it to HQ tomorrow night, and as always...

...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Looks like I'm going to have to give this one a miss due to the tube strike. Apparently the Central Line will be running as far as White City before the game, but won't take us home again afterwards. The alternative is three buses, which doesn't appeal.

The attendance will take a big hit.

I’ll be the only one there so it’ll be 90 minutes of me calling Varane a **** on the stream for you all.

Followed by a delightful night in one of the cheaper hotel in the area.

I’m taking two guests that’ll make up for you.

It seems JS is going to use the remaining games to give the squad game time so expect some differing line ups. You never know they may surprise us...

Hopefully Madsen and Chair will start. We looked much better when they came on on Saturday.

Am going to drive and hopefully find a parking spot. A right old pain tbh … Nevermind- I’m sure we’ll turn on the style!

Good luck lads. I’d take a point now.

A friend’s son is possibly on the bench for the first time for us this evening - 19 years old Thomas Woodward.

Well , :emoticon-0159-musicit’s not unusual :emoticon-0159-music <cheers>

If you know, you know!

Adam Idah is handed a first start since December as one of four changes to the Swansea City side to face Queens Park Rangers tonight (7.45pm).

Striker Idah is named in the XI for the first time since returning from a lengthy lay-off with a hamstring injury, and he starts ahead of Zan Vipotnik in attack.

Jay Fulton, Leo Walta and Ronald also come into the Swans team for Marko Stamenic, Liam Cullen and Jisung Eom respectively.

Highly-rated academy product Thomas Woodward is named among the substitutes, and the attacking midfielder will make his senior debut if introduced from the bench.

Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, behind an unchanged back four of Sam Parker, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess and Josh Tymon.

Fulton and Walta link up with Goncalo Franco in midfield, with Melker Widell and Ronald out wide.

Idah is the man tasked with leading the line for the visitors.

Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Sam Parker, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Jay Fulton, Goncalo Franco, Leo Walta; Ronald, Melker Widell, Adam Idah.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Marko Stamenic, Malick Yalcouye, Zan Vipotnik, Jisung Eom, Gustavo Nunes, Liam Cullen, Joel Ward, Thomas Woodward.

Woody is on the bench <ok>
