They have beaten Tadcaster Albion 2-1 to seal promotion to the Northern Premier League Division One East (Step 4), where they'll play the likes of North Ferriby, Bridlington Town and Stocksbridge Parks Steels. Big step up in quality, but got to give a shoutout to Dave Ricardo and his team for bringing the sport back to the town; 999 fans watched that final at Norwood Rec, which at that level is an enormous turnout.

McAuley Snelgrove finished as top scorer with 23 goals, while another former young Tiger in Glen Sani opened the scoring yesterday. Other former Tigers in there include Matty Plummer, Sammy Opoku, Nathan Hotte and Harry Lovick.

Will also add, there's a lad called Zak Khan in the league below (NCEL Div 1 - where Winterton have just been relegated from) who plays for Route One Rovers and has scored 68 goals this season. Wallet out, Dave.

Are you involved? Do they need an investor?

Similar thing happening at Malvern Town FC down my neck of the woods

Won the playoffs this year and promoted to Southern League Premier South - one step below the National League North / South

Could have been very embarrassing for Hereford FC, who - had they not survived on the final day - would have been playing Malvern in the league next season

Think Beverley Town must be two steps below National League North now, so not far off
