The question a lot of Fulham fans are pondering is will Marco Silva Stay or Go.
Has he taken the club as far as he can, we seem locked into the same tactics in most games and he has been struggling to find a solution with the players we have, sometimes his substitutions work some times the don't.
Does he want to test himself at a European level.
I think he'll leave, otherwise why not sign a new contract. Rumour has it the stumbling block is his coaching staff being retained with him or changed,

Seems there may well be a big turn around of Premier and World Cup managers at the end of the season.
So some of the managers I'd like to see linked are
Vincenzo Montella Turkeys Coach, has a similar style of play to Silva
Roberto Martinez Portuguese Coach similar style to Silva but a bit more defensive minded.
Eddie Howe if rumours at Newcastle are correct that he will be sacked, but I'd expect other clubs to be in for him.
A bit off the wall
Alan Pardew, a Fulham fan who attends games a lot and still has good tactical knowledge
Damian Duff has been Shelbourne manager but also has a good knowledge of up & coming U-17 working as a FIFA advisor.
Boa Morte untried as a head coach but seems a players coach, is assistant coach at Samsunspor Turkey.

but knowing our lot they'll go for
Jesse Marsch Canadian Coach
Thomas Frank
Jose Mourinho (Real Madrid ?)
Postecoglou
Pochettino (AC Milan ?)
Liam Rosenior (a lot of fans wanted him before he went to that lot)

My thoughts are that any new coach coming in will have to strip the spine of the team out and bring his own players in.
so maybe we lose from the first team
Leno
Andersen (maybe Bassey)
Berge Lukic
Smith-Rowe (maybe Iwobi)
Raul Muniz
And I think Wilson & Robinson will leave

The Silva scenario drags on and on, it would seem he may be Benfica bound, now Mourinho has left them.
A statement from Silva after the Newcastle game was we'd know during the week when he'd make his mind up. !!!
Still waiting. ......

Well now we know, and it appeared irreversible once he was talking to Benfica. I'm a little sad he has moved on, and more than apprehensive on what will happen next. The margins of success are very small, and if we don't get the next phase right, it could be trouble ahead.
It's going to be an interesting summer, and all needs settling before pre-season.

I'm hoping we will bring in a manager with experience rather than an experimental one.
Most of our best managers in my option have been able to call on and entice players to join Fulham (Keegan, Tigana, Hodgson, Silva) because they have either worked with them before or the player respects them. If we go back to allowing Tony Khan to bring in players via his Generic Analytical system we'll go backwards to the days of a coach having to coach players he doesn't really want.
