5 of our last 7 games are away.
3 are against teams in the top 5.
6 in the top 8.

It's a tough run for sure.

not quite
we only have 6 games left
3 home
3 away

5 are against teams in top 8 (United in 3rd, Villa 4th, Chelsea 6th, Brentford 7th and Everton 8th) other is palace in 13th

Still a tough run, but on other hand, it’s in our own hands as win a few of those games as we stop our rivals from getting points as well.

With Eki looking to be out for the rest of the season I just dont see where we are going to get goals from. Salah and Gakpo are awful at the moment and Isak is no where near fit. Rio should get more game time now. You never know Chiesa might get the odd game. With 6 games left to go I am struggling to see us scoring 6 times in the remaining matches.

The one positive that I'm clinging to is that, after this game, we go back to pretty much one game a week. We may see some more energetic performances, hopefully with some more cohesion in the final third so we can score goals before the 60th minute I.e. before Slot starts making kitchen sink type changes mid game.

I want a Rio and I want one now

Rio Gakpo Salah/Frimpong seems the obvious front 3 with Isak getting some game time to build up fitness.

Funny really, slot came in, more relaxed shall we say style of football. Bound to have less injuries with less intense football.

I don't think I can recall a season with so many season ending injuries in one go.

Isak, Bradley, ekitike, endo, Gomez, the young Italian lad. I think there's more that I can't recall. Oh Alison.

Actually funny isn't the word, it's ****ing tragic.

CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR AWAY WIN 2:3
What information do we collect from this quiz?

I actually thought Liverpool did OK against Paris St-Germain in midweek and had a period where they took the game to them, even if they did not get the result they needed.

Now this season is all about finishing in the top five for Slot, but Everton are a good side and, if they win this, they can reel Liverpool in.

An Everton win was actually my first thought here, but I've changed my mind. I'm going to sit on the fence instead.

Sutton's prediction: 1-1

Molly on a big weekend on Merseyside: I am really pleased that this game got moved to the Sunday because it would have affected the Everton or Liverpool fans coming to the Arena for the boxing afterwards - whoever they support, some of them would have been disgruntled!

Now, hopefully I will get the win on Saturday night and then I've got a ticket to go and watch this match on Sunday... and see Everton make it a weekend in paradise for me.

Molly's prediction: Liverpool have been shocking recently but it's derby day and it doesn't matter who is in form in our city. Instead, it is just about who can hold the pace for the longest and not unravel towards the end. Whoever loses shape and switches off first, the other team will win.

So, it will be a nervy one but I think we'll win and I'd even put Beto down to get on the scoresheet if he starts, which I think he will - I can see him being up for it. 2-0

Sice on a bright spark in Liverpool's disappointing season: We are a squad in transition and the most exciting thing for Liverpool fans at the moment is Rio Ngumoha. I am a huge fan of kind of just letting young players like him loose. He's only 17 and people question if is he old enough but when you see someone with his talent, and his pace and purpose, I just think let him play.

Sice's prediction: In the tradition of high-scoring derbies of the past, I am going to go for a few goals here.

Liverpool are flaky at the moment and Ibrahima Konate always seems off the pace at the back, and liable to make a mistake. I still think we will win, however, and I just hope Arne Slot lets Rio loose. I'm going to say it will be a free-flowing game with an exciting finish - a very late goal to decide it - and I feel like Rio will have a big impact. 2-3

AI's prediction: 1-2

JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR A DRAW.

Liverpool not to score in first halves away from home remains a sustainable edge to exploit. The Reds have scored just three first-half goals in their last 17 away days as Arne Slot's controlled and safety-first style remains a tedious watch at times. If you have been backing this Liverpool first half blank in their away games you'd have landed the money on 14 of the last 17 occasions.

When you throw in Everton's defensive soundness into the mix, the case grows even stronger. The Toffees have kept a first half clean sheet in 10 of their 16 home games and haven't conceded a first half home goal in their last four games. It's 5/6 with Sky Bet to happen again.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1

It's worrying because you only have to look at Spurs to see what can happen when you have a s**** ton of long term injuries on top of making too many bad decisions back to back.

Injuries you can do nothing about. Bad decisions seem rife in the prem. Especially when you've got to much money to spend.

Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle all spring to mind, I'd throw arsenal in there as well an absolute fortune spent with little to show for it.
