Zak Johnson doing very well in the middle of a back 3 for York City. They scored a last minute winner yesterday to beat Altrincham 2-1.

York (101 pts) jumped above Rochdale (99 pts) at the top of the National league with 3 games to go. Only the top team gets promoted automatically to League 2.

A really good insight into what Matty Young is all about. Lad seems to have his feet firmly on the ground. He seems to be very well thought of at Salford by the club and the fans. If he continues the way he is, I fully expect him to be pushing our existing keepers in 3-4 years time.

A top-end League One loan next season would be ideal, then the Championship. The lad has time on his side and it's important that we, as his parent club, continue to support him all the way and provide input into his development. He's going to be a home grown star of the future and he's part of a club who look like they are going to be in the top flight for quite a while, which unfortunately wasn't the case when Pickford was coming through.
