Yes Palace are dross and that is my point. They have won 2 cups, we have won 1. They are still in Europe and so may win another cup. They have done that with a budget that is tiny compared to NUFC.

And yet people see us in 14th place and thing Eddie is a god. He has won us a cup and since the last 3 games of last season, the form has been rank.

People dont want to see it but it's been obvious for a while. Eddie needs to go. If Hopkinson really believes 2030 then he needs to be ruthless. Start with Howe again next season and he will be gone by Xmas after it turns nasty. I dont want that for Howe as he needs to go or walk away at the end of the season and discussions on a replacement need to start now.

Id love to be on here everything week, praising the team and Howe but this season has never got going. I think we have won 3 in a row once. I hate Newcastle playing like this.

I do hate it as well, but.... perspective. After what we did last season, this season has been a disaster, but I'm writing this season off now and ready to move on to next season.

Spurs on the hand, can't really write off this season and think about the next right now.
 
That’s only their 4th win at home and first time they’ve won after going behind

yeah that is the one thing to keep me interested in the premier league. Hoping and praying Spurs go down.........
 
Got to say I think that’s enough now of hoping for the team and staff to turn it around, clearly not motivated by Howe’s “intensity is our identity, run more than them” mantra. There is very little in the way of attacking game plan especially through the middle and no game management. Thats 25 points now dropped from winning positions across the epl this season - unacceptable - while I do lay a lot of the blame for that stat at the yellow bellied players, Howe was to blame today, no game management what so ever, wrong subs at the wrong time and while Botman will owe a private and public apology for that moment of madness, the team shouldn’t have been in a position to give it away and that was down to Howe and his inaction today. Unless he has a miracle last 6 games, I’ll thank Howe for laying the groundwork here and first trophy in 70 years but he’s not good enough to take this team further and needs upgrading in the summer.
