We had no midfield with any spirit , Amir non existent would t challenge for a ball , and Crooks and Lunny were too slow . The blunts were first to every loose of 50/50 and their 5 a side footie in from if our box was terrible to watch it was so easy for them . Don’t know what Sergei was watching we were NOT the better team but Millar and Belloumi need to find an end product .

Very harsh assessment of Stewart. Prior to his injury he looked quality. I do think with him if he didn’t get injured, there would’ve been a solid championship winger there.

He returned from injury and looked good in patches but couldn’t get back to the heights of how good he was prior to his ACL.
He retired early

For the first yellow, the incident that caused the flare up looked to me to be Lundstram standing on their guy's ankle or shin. Of course, it could have been accidental, but it was Lundstram.

Nevertheless we shouldn't have so easily thrown away both points after all the hard work we put in to take, and keep, the lead.
Yep, it looked to me like he stood on his shin, and it didn't look accidental.

So, after some time to reflect…..still gutted. There’s a right way & wrong way to go about games….and then the City way! For the 2nd time in recent games, we had an explosive start, take an early lead, then seem to go into our shell, and not follow through & go for the jugular. I said in 2nd half, the game was far too open/Sheffield had too much possession for my liking, crying out for subs, but when they came, not the right ones. Yes, Millar off correct, if he had an end product he would be dangerous, Lundstrum on a dubious yellow, should have been off also, we were too slow to loose balls, the sending off then doesn’t happen. The last sub, bringing Hughes on, to defend the point, worked well, not! Either he’s fit to play or not, just didn’t see the point in it.

Penalty decision, ridiculous; 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of other. This is trouble of using Prem League refs, originally I thought at last we may get a decent ref, how wrong was I. They are used to having the benefit of VAR, maybe reliant/complacent, getting them out of jail/off the hook with decisions, but not in the Championship, when Ref decisions are more crucial.

I was of the opinion a few months ago, that Southampton would get into the playoffs, at the expense of either ourselves or Wrexham, and so it looks like that. Squeaky bum time for sure next few weeks. UTT.

Collyer and Koumas are both expected to be available for Birmingham.

Disappointing day today, but we’ve still got a very good chance of the play-offs.

I don’t think we’ve a prayer of winning them, but it would be nice to be in them.
If we get in them, I think we have an excellent chance of winning them. Millwall and Boro both v beatable. And we’ve beaten Southampton twice.

I think Lundstram may have been unlucky with the second booking. The referee looked in his way and may have impaired his timing. I haven’t watched the replays, that’s how it looked inside the ground. Disappointing to come away with nothing. We should have been 2-3 up in the first half.
Ref did get in his way but it was a nailed on yellow. Typical Lundstrum slide but he was late. Regardless of the poor positioning from the ref, it was an idiotic challenge to make and a deserved second yellow.

I can't see the fascination with any of this grovelling behaviour.First McBurnie refuses to celebrate his goal, now this.

The 2 of them need to realise who's currently paying their hefty salaries.!!
The celebration thing really pisses me off, always has - don’t have to go winding them up by doing over the top stuff in front of them, but you should celebrate with your team mates and fans!

Agree. Get out of whatever you are doing on Tuesday 21st and get down to the King Power stadium to watch us secure a place in the play offs
Sorry - this only tangentially-related:

I’ll be in UK in April and had hoped to get to two games, but failed to take into account demand during the run-in…the Leicester allocation has sold out.
If anybody has a ticket to Leicester that’s going begging because of a change of plans, I would be grateful and would of course compensate the ticket holder.

Thank you.
