The East Anglian Derby returns to Carrow Road this Saturday. Pride is on the line for us, but for Ipswich, there’s also the small issue of keeping their auto promotion hopes alive!

Despite Ipswich sitting above Norwich in the table, it’s Norwich leading Ipswich in the 6 and 10 game form tables thanks to Philippe Clement turning Norwich into a genuinely competitive team again, epitomised by Norwich’s massive away win at Millwall that helped Ipswich hop back into the promotion places. Ipswich are still grinding out results, but there have been stutters lately, drawing three of their last five as the pressure of the automatic promotion run in starts to bite.

Ipswich have been there, or there abouts all season. The away fixture back in October, ending Norwich’s 16 year domination of the Old Farm came at the peak of Norwich’s gloom. What a difference 6 months can make. These are always nervy affairs, but who’d bet against PC’s yellows at the moment?

Personnel updates to follow – [Thanks Suffolk]

Great match thread again, Hairy. Those games at Southampton and Boro were both 1-0 away, while we beat the saints at CR. We've also taken 4 points against Coventry and beaten Wrexham and Millwall away. As Hairy says, our current form is better than Ipswich's and now we have super Mo back.

Awesome thread Hairy! Super Mo to score in a Carrow Road thriller. Come on City!
I will be in bed for this one as I am running my first full marathon on Sunday morning.
I will watch the game on repeat from the sofa on Sunday afternoon. A bit nervous about the whole weekend tbh.

Wow good luck with the marathon. Hopefully lots of reasons to celebrate that afternoon. <cheers>

Fisher & McConville have both been passed fit according ro reports from the Pinkun

PC confirmed that in the presser as well as no other injuries or niggles from the Millwall game. From that list, only Makama and Diallo would be competing for a start tomorrow IMO. Ipswich have 2 definite outs and 3 more doubtful.
I’d say Schlupp has been in favour when fit - but agreed, we are finally looking close to full strength (and frankly not having three or four matchday squad players out injured would be unusual for just about any team these days)
