What? How stupid do you have to be? Thats like Stan Kroenke buying Arsenal and saying "Do we automatically play in europe" except he's not stupid enough to do that.

Yeah,I mentioned it a while back. They thought Blackburn was a franchise as part of the Premier league and that the TV money on offer etc was guaranteed every year. They didn't realise relegation could mean financial ruin. Elemetary business mistakes from top to bottom!!

 

I'm glad Bolton won, mainly cause I ****ing hate Steve Kean.

I like Owen Coyle, so i'm glad Bolton won, and are now off the bottom. I ****ing hate Steve Kean, one of the most punchable faces i've seen.

I don't think they deserve to be where they are. Although they have lost the prowess they had last season due to Sturridge going back to Chelsea. I'd like to see this as a turning point for Bolton.

 

That would explain the recent calls for relegation to be scrapped, when they realised Blackburn going down was a big possibility.

 

Well, when you look at Venkys and Blackburn. You sort of feel half thankful, that we have MA in charge. At least he has some business sense. Shame, he doesnt give two ****s about the club as a whole, and has employed a massive ****er as chairmen.

 

If Blackburn end up going down, i doubt they'd get back up for a long time.

 

the main problem with his tenure imo if he got rid of that twat and had someone with connections to the club and knows how football works and how the fans think he'd be better advised and probably less hated

The Venky's group clearly don't understand Football. I remember they tried to sign Ronaldinho last season. Obviously didn't occur to them that Blackburn aren't a major player in world football. As for Ashley and Llambias, you have to give the latter some credit, he knows his way around the transfer market. No other chairman could have sold Andy Carroll for 35 million. Well, maybe Nicola Cortese at Southampton, he's good at playing hardball.

 

Except it was in the first half of the season last year that Bolton played so well, before they received Sturridge on loan in January. Not that it was his fault they only won twice in the second half of the season - their defence simply sucked, and has since.

 

It's cahill, he's rubbish. Gets caught out of postion too often, doesn't make the tackles he should, and generally makes an arse of himself. A bit like Djourou.
