Funny thing football, other than the two skate games this is probably the one I was looking forward to the most but after last night not sure I can be arsed <laugh>

Peretz
Bree THB stephens/wood manners
Downes Jander
Fellows Azaz scienza
Stewart

Assuming Stewart’s ichilles has not dissolved or spontaneously combusted

Can’t wait for this one!! Honestly just feels like anything really is possible this season now.

Still reeling tbh haha!! Buzzed for draw in a min. Think he needs to rest Ross as we gonna need him fit for every game at the end of this season, my team for Tues would be:

Peretz,
Bree, THB, Stephens, Manning
Downes, Charles
Fellows, Azaz, Scienza
Larin

Billy's juggernaut is on the road again. Next stop the STōK Cae Ras, Wrexham. Cae Ras is Welsh for Racecourse Ground which it was always known as before it was given a Hollywood make over.

Spent tonight with a couple of Arsenal fans, and it was almost embarrassing how much praise they gave to the team performance against them. There was none of the "oh, we put a weakened team out" or that they got their tactics wrong, they just admitted that we played them off the park and it was a fantastic team performance.
If we put the same effort in against Wrexham, we will win and open up a gap and secure our place in the play offs.
I'm fairly confident that if we get promoted, we will be a lot more competitive in the PL and can start to build a proper competitive squad. Am still buzzing 24 hrs later
What a difference a day makes.

Yeah the weakened team argument itself is weak, seeing as we had Jander and academy lad Bragg in our midfield. Theirs by comparison; Norgaard has 40 caps for Denmark, and Odegaard has 67 for Norway.

Spoke to a Spurs fan last nite during the WHU game. Thought he would be a bit complementary but no. So tried to open the conversation & asked what’s going wrong at Spurs especially as it’s 2 seasons at the nether regions of PL. “Champions of Europe” was the answer. I’ve now swapped from wishing either WHU or Spurs to go down to just Spurs <laugh>

Gonna be beautiful weather tomorrow. Still not feeling great so probably shouldn't go but can't bring myself to not. Buzzing for the day out.

Do think our unbeaten run comes to an end here though. We had a hangover from Fulham so expecting the same here and Wrexham will be bang up for this, expecting their crowd to be just as fired up as we were Saturday.

That could be in our favour - they will want to play and that opens up space - still reckon we will win tomorrow and with all the draws and a likely hull loss this evening the weekends results haven't been so bad for us

Annoyingly Moore has just returned from injury too. This is also their first home game after 3 in a row away from home, their last home game was the 2-0 win against Swansea on March 13th! So you'd expect them to be fully up for the occasion. They'll have obviously also had a day and half longer to recover from their last game and to prepare for this.
In theory you could see it being difficult for our players to get themselves back up and put in the energy to match Wrexham following so closley after the heroics of the Arsenal win but at least we do have some players fresh to come in like Downes, Matsuki, Charles, Edozie and Larin.
So yeah, all of this has built up in Wrexhams favour. But hopefully we can ride the wave of confidence that must be running through the squad and I'd probably rather it was a big game, then one we are expected to win like West Brom was.

I’ve been getting loads of txts from Spurs fans, thanking Saints for giving them something to smile about.

I think the lads will be right up for it after Saturday and today's results. There is a bit of steel and determination in them. Bring in Charles and Downes in CM and we have recharged the engine room, and Stephens back in if he is fit

There's no doubting Tonda is fully focused on this game. I listened to his post match interview on Saturday while driving home and he kept reiterating how from Sunday everyone would be focusing on this game.
