Funny enough, I randomly came across your post while searching for something completely different, and it got me thinking… so I figured I’d drop a reply

Looking back now, I’m actually kind of glad Neymar never won the Ballon dOr. When you consider his career path and where he is today, it just doesn’t feel like he fully deserved it in the end.

I really believe that if he had stayed at Barcelona, things could have gone very differently for him. But that’s one of those “what if” scenarios we’ll never get an answer to.

That being said, I wouldn’t mind seeing one last dance from Neymar at the next World Cup. On his day, he’s still capable of something special — and it would be a nice way to close that chapter.

Football’s funny like that… sometimes talent alone isn’t enough, timing and decisions matter just as much.
