Aha. On that note, a word for that Shane Long goal at Anfield. Perhaps not technically great, as in no great technique involved, but absolutely one of the best 'Bloody Hell' moments in my lifetime of supporting Saints. I was right in line behind the goal shouting 'don't shoot, just hold it up' but luckily he didn't hear me.

He reckons he meant it. If he didn't I don't know who he was passing to. The keeper had a bit of a mare but is actually a very decent keeper. Donegal GAA sub keeper for a bit.

I don't think I've ever been more excited by a goal than Osvaldo's against City. Their side included Aguero, Kompany, Yaya Toure, Dzeko and Zabaleta.
Right in front of us he put Kompany on his backside and chipped a 6' 8" goalkeeper. I don't know what I thought I was going to do but I started to run towards the pitch before sanity took over. My wife reminds me about it from time to time.
