My wife is a physiotherapist, a bloody good one at that (has to be to keep me playing at 38), she reckons they're picking up these injuries due to the intensity of the training sessions.

If that's true, then it sounds similar to when we had Tim Walter in charge and players were throwing up in pre season.
What was the injury? I thought he was holding his ankle from where I was sitting.

A much better second half, whether they tired or we were more relaxed, I’m not sure, but first half was way too nervy, luckily we got back into it straight away.
Definitely need to be getting Gelhardt into the game more, first half nothing, second half got into it, shouldn’t have been offside for his goal either.

There is plenty of ways that overtraining can be detected by well known methods e.g heart rate variability. Can’t believe that Ciry are not using one or more methods.

Hmm -- he had plenty of chances to get into the game first half, and mucked it up virtually ever time. Gave the ball away continually, stray passes etc. Much as he has been recently apart from that stunning free kick the other day. Played better second half, possibly from a more central position?

Well, a win's a win however they come, not very convincing though and a playoff place still in the balance.
Apart from his sliced clearance early on I thought Pandur looked a bit more composed today, looked to have a semblance of authority in the box.

A lot of pressure on them to win that after the loss last time and the teams around them all drawing at that point. Thankfully, they did.

Joseph should be the first player on the team sheet. You can literally see him improving every game, touch, passing and finishing.

Whatever happens this season I hope he isn’t a victim of been replaced if we remain in this league.

The fact he was hauled off v Millwall and didn’t start v West Brom was ludicrous. He’s a miles better player than Koumas, who isn’t a winger.

Also buy their goalkeeper, I don’t think I’ve seen a better goalkeeper with his feet at home. Looks good with his hands as well.

Very strange game with Wednesday already down; their support was top class.

Joseph, McBurnie and Drameh were the best for me and Mo looked good when he came on.

We were sliced open by long balls far too easily.

The South Stand emptying around me on 86 minutes boiled my piss.

Up the bastard tigers.

Somebody I know that supports Wednesday messaged me beforehand saying they have been starting strong first half past few games and then collapsing second.

It happened today. Happened when they played Ipswich last time out. Happened when they played Watford recently too and were on the verge of winning that game.
