  4. Same dissapointing transfer window, sell best players bring in no one

    Hell to the no... Desperately concerned this will signal the end of my patience with Newcastle under the ownership of Ashley.

    Pardew has begun the whole "Nah we won't sell..." >>> "it's unlikely he'll be going anywhere" >>> "If someone comes in with a looney bid they can talk to him" stuff, so we ALL know what comes next and that Tiote is going soon, and it'll be incredibly surprising if we get a replacement in decent time.

    Why oh why, when we are in great position, do we end up selling and bringing nobody in? It's just pathetic excuses from the top.

    I love the way that when we sold Carroll we bought no one and somehow ended up in the top 7 at Christmas playing only youth players and John Carver...

    We'll bring in one or two that are probably already scouted and ready, no big names. If a silly bid comes in for someone we'll take it, if not we won't as we're one of the most financially stable clubs in the league.

    I expect to sign a CB (Ridgewell?), a FB (Clyne?), 3 strikers (Zaha?, Rhodes? & Giroud?) and a winger (Hoilett?). I expect to sell dross such as Smith, Obertan etc and whoever else Pardew deems as useless. Thats what I expect to happen if the owner is ambitious and wants the club to progress forward. However we will have to wait and see.

    The option I'm feeling is missing "nervy window, but we'll hang on to everyone and bring 1 or 2 in for minimal expense'

    Even though I'd love to keep the bloke, for some reason, I just don't feel like I'd be devastated if Tiote left anymore. I don't know, I know that it would be a big loss, but at the same time, I don't have the same upsetting feeling of him leaving anymore.

    Timmy Krul leaving would make me the most upset to be honest and Coloccini

    I'd rather see Tiote leave before these two.

    I really hate January, if anyone who's sold is replaced adequately and we maybe buy a player or two then I'm happy.

    Yeah I don't expect anyone important to go unless it's for insane money, so in that sense I'm sort of intrigued as to what we do get for any outgoing players... But I feel like there are a couple coming in and Tiote is the only one seriously linked away which I still don't reckon will happen. I'm quietly optimistic!
