My fellow fans wouldn't be so cocky when we get away with it if other fans (not you guys, I mean ABUs in general) weren't so hypocritical whenever something like this happens.

Gerrard gets away with it - no one cares
Martins gets away with it - no one cares
Malouda gets away with it - no one cares
Rooney gets away with it - suddenly the system is fixed against Utd and it's a farce and the rules must be changed and we've bought the ref off and on and on and on....

Am I the only one of the Man Utd fans who are happy rooney is getting this back in his game.

Not saying I want him elbowing everyone but the aggression. hes missed that for too long and even though it makes his do stupid things sometimes, its what makes him Rooney.

Ah, I wondered why so many Toon fans had invaded our board. I should've realised jordan had kicked the hornet's nest....no wait, that's Watford...

I dunno, I was happier last season when he was channelling his aggression into his game. He seems to be getting frustrated and lashing out more now, like he used to in his first few seasons. Not too happy about that...

Don't get me wrong I'm glad he's getting back on his game (prefer him in an England shirt though ;) ha)
It's just things like this that ruin it slightly. It was off the ball and there was no reason for it, is what annoys me too.

And I cared when others got away with it! Don't get me started on Gerrard or...Martins!!

"Bollocks, stop nit picking, you guys complain like **** when **** like this happens with scouse or arse players involved, but when it's one of your own then you become all cockily defensive claiming " oh well everybody else got away with it so should we "
stop contradicting yourselves and accept the ref was wrong and Saint Wazza should be enjoying a 3 match ban to go sleep with more prostitutes while his poor silly bitch of a wife is at home looking after his spawn."

yeah, really having some decent debate there, acid <doh>

He lost his aggression last season.

I mean the aggression he had where he still was a hot head but he was able to control himself and use it to his advantage.

Where he would run at players and they would be terrified. Playing out a little wider and bagging 15 goals a season plus almost as many assists. Thats the Rooney we need.

Exactly. This thread itself is a fine example of his cockiness.
You have to agree he can be a dick. He came to our board and made a thread calling Barton's Tash all sorts of things for no reason. **** stirring for no reason. I see that Tash annoys people, personally I have no problem with him, but it's just entirely uncalled for.
Just protecting our own mate you have to appreciate!

Mate, what can I say, I flipped, but it was one post, I apologise. It was hardly abusive either.
But it's just you. I bet you have one of those faces that really really really really pisses people off.

    Rooney is one horrible prick.
He has gotten away with sleeping with hookers while his wife is pregnant, shafting over the team by demanding ridiculous amount of wages and calling the rest of the utd. team **** (basically) and now elbowing a player to the face.
However, since he is englands no.1 striker, the FA is allowing him to get away with the elbowing.

Just like Shearer when he kicked Lennon and the FA bottled the decision to ban him.

Seriously though, I don't wanna argue with people ha. I'm lovely really!

You're probably alright really. Maybe just the wrong side comes out when football's concerned ;)

Anyway, this has all died now, so I'm off to buy some ice cream or something.
    It's been lovely, again sometime.

What does his sex life have to do with the FA?
    Or his treatment of United?
Or what relevance does it have to his elbowing incident?

Shame that pathetic person got off for something other players have got 3 match bans for, even when they did a lot less.
Shows the rules need changed regarding this sort of incident though, thought this for awhile and not just because of the thuggish behaviour from Rooney.
