Not sure how I feel about this, on the one hand there will likely be a lot of good teams I theleague next year so expanding the playoffs helps us. On the other hand I like the current format and it seems just about fair

My issue is that I feel the semi final stage should just be one leg (as well as the quarter finals). Obviously played at the 3rd and 4th place grounds. That should be their advantage for having finished higher. Never been a fan of competitions dragging a fixture over home and away legs. Just get on with it!

Yes, and that 8th place team would be a disaster in the PL. I don't know why the Premier League didn't block this.

It just shows what a farce it could be. Add this to the list of reasons to hate so called administrators in the game.
