Just the result we needed going into another run of tough matches. My prediction of a draw for this match thankfully proved to be wrong. It looks as though the new manager syndrome didn't thwart us. Let's stick my neck out and see how I get on with my predictions for the Christmas triple header. Wimbledon away is winnable I believe, possibly 1-0 even though there is the Jack Midson worry. Torquay away is difficult to call, going by past performances 2-2 then. If we have done as well as I hope then we could be looking at a cracking game against Crawley possibly 1-0. November was a month to forget let's hope December is one to remember.
Northampton looked a really poor side to me and were there for the taking, having said that it took a great strike from TC to break the deadlock. We seem to have bags of potential going forward but I think we are still a bit suspect at the back, Jake Wright isn't having the best of seasons IMO. Going forward I agree with DidcotOUFC in that the Wimbledon game is definitely winable, I'm not sure about Torquay away, I'd take a draw TBH but the Crawley game should be good, especially if Dubes has returned to full fitness. I'm sure Steve Evans will get a nice warm reception
So Richmond two poor sides playing each other then and from what i hear you lot weren't convincing so you move on to Wimbledon away a tough game and the best you will get is a draw but expect a defeat and you have Crawley coming up soon a definite defeat and you will be sliding back down that table unable to reach the top 7. Never mind after your early season promise which we all knew was a flash in the pan you will be back to where you belong mid table mediocrity whereas the Paolo march up the table continues. FOREVER IN OUR SHADOW
True though Richmond - Two poor sides going nowhere or maybe you could slip back to the conference sooner rather than later.
