Not sure if I have started one before but if not you are just about to discover why.

Racing today is from here and there, mostly there. But there are plenty of races that look to be solvable. At least I think they are but that says bugger all. And I had to put my selections somewhere.

    My selections are:

    Taunton
    12.30 Swincombe Flame
    14.00 Prince Tom
    15.05 Dantari

    Musselburgh
    12.20 Soul Angel
    13.20 Vosges
    13.50 Any Given Moment
    14.20 Simply Ned,

    Kempton
    14.10 Russian Bullet
    15.15 Le Toreador (Nap)

    Good luck every-one.

PS. That's all the racing in UK. Racing in France pretty crap today. I wouldn't bother looking.

  2. Tomorrows selections run in the 2.45 Kempton and is BUDDY HOLLY EW. Currently available at 14/1 on Bet 365.

Another one I like the look of at a very nice price runs in the 2.20 at Mussleburgh, TOLEDO GOLD at 50/1 should run a brave race from the front, and is dropped another 4lb and in the soft going could prove difficult to catch.

    3.15 Kempton.Best Trip 12/1 e.w

One of the Rae Guest trio and interesting back from a break. Races prominently and often keeps on well and enjoys a battle. There is an absolute tonne of pace in this race so his good draw is crucial to a good position and I think he can get a few of these in trouble.

Kempton record reads 13801321120 (In frame or better in 8 of 12 starts there) and a record of 1212 in 2011 season at Kempton when drawn low <ok>

Small stakes though as it is very trappy.

Morning everyone. Cycled to work with -8 windchill this morning - I'm sure my sperm is now is the optimum temperature <brr>

Just the one for me today unless I get bored later

    12.30 Taunton Swincombe Flame (NAP)

8/15 is a disappointing price though ..................... may have to look for something to double it up with

Na mate all that lurid bike gear with ad slogans looks very camp if you ask me. Black Goretex and an orange waterproof jacket does the trick for me (plus a hi-vis vest)

Onya mate. I'm pretty much the same, my wife has been trying to get colour into my wardrobe for thirty odd years.

Gaspara is starting to look interesting again in the last at Taunton - down to 110 today with a 10lbs claimer on board. She was rated 152 4 years ago and is still only 8.

Oddy: Always felt that Gaspara was a highly intelligent mare. So smart, in fact, that she developed a "sod this" syndrome? She was really good a few years back. I hope she re-invents herself, but I think it might be better to wait and see? Very tempting to have a bet though, must admit. <ok>

Morning chaps... A bit fresh outside but not as fresh as in germany... Jeez Oddy that sounds like hard work... Hope you peddled fast enough as to not get any frost bite to the crown jewels... <yikes>

As one of my mates once said, these modern day bike seats are like sitting on a dildo... Cant do you much good...!!!

Anyway back to what racing we have today and a couple have caught the eye...

    Taunton...
    2.00 - Prince Tom, 11/4
    3.05 - Dantari, 7/2

    Muss...
    1.20 - Vosges, 5/4
    1.50 - Dizzy River, 11/4
    2.20 - Zaplamation, 7/1

    Singles n doubles...

Good luck to all who play today... <ok>

Morning lads, I'm afraid I'm suffering from the same syndrome as Gaspara today! Probably have a look at the cards over lunch. "I'll be back".
