DevAvocate, it's on my profile all open and above board. In addition to those teams, I support Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs. I don't get to as many games as I'd like nowadays though..

How exactly do you "support" them all? Is'nt it a bit of an inconvenience when they play each other?

It doesn't happen as often as you'd think. I love Wenger and my Gunners so wanted Arsenal to win yesterday. At the same time, I've got massive respect for City, support them and want to see them become the biggest club in the world in the next 3 years. So, I cheered both teams and wouldn't have been disappointed who had won. I am just a patriot and support British football as the best in the world.

    You're a waste of bandwidth..

The EPL isn't even the second best league in the world, its best players are constantly snapped up by the Spanish, its two top teams can't even make the Quarter finals of the CL, same 2-3 teams winning the league EVERY season. only had 3 different winners of the league in its current state since its inception.

BORING AS ****!!!! just like you...

How can you claim that bringing NoBrain back in place of Lennon would be a good idea? He is at Borough with completely different players, playing against different opposition, with a different league structure. Lennon is doing fine, he had a rough patch about a month into the season and stayed calm when all around were losing the head. He has the team playing attractive, entertaining football while winning at the same time, something NoBrain couldnt manage after spending millions on HIS squad.

C3LTIC. La Liga is the least competitive league in the world. FACT. Only 2 teams will only ever win it. Only 2 good games a season and we know what they are. Only ONE team has done anything in the CL recently, Barca. The dross that makes up positions 3-20 rarely get to the knockout stages. That shows you the quality of that league. This year apart, all 4 EPL usually get to the quarters at least which is why UEFA rank the EPL number one. God, the SPL is competitive compared to la Liga. Even the Spanish fans are now saying its too uncompetitive because the top 2 clubs take all the money. Valencia, Athletico etc are a billion miles behind and will never win it. This year, Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs all have a good chance of winning the EPL.
Lennon is piss poor and you know it if you take off you blinkers. How can Sally be beating him when it's his first season. You are just a WUM.

Celtic played A Madrid in this year Europa a team that cost over a hundred million to assemble, more than Villa ,Everton and Newcastle combined spend. A team that also won the Europa cup beating Fulham in the final , Seville also hammerred Middlesbro in the final . The reason Barcelona and Real Madrid are so far ahead in the Spanish league is they are comfortably the best two teams in the world , the top teams in the epl standards have dropped big time and made the league look better than it is .i would go as far to say some of that Man utd team wouldn't get a game for us !!!

harryhood, you can't argue with the facts. Every year the Spanish clubs struggle in the CL. Only 2 clubs have ever won the CL or European cup.
There are some rubbish La Liga teams with attendences around the 15-20k mark which is poor by top league standards. Real Madrid and Barca would kill to play in the EPL on the world stage.

harryhood, La Liga have had ONE team in the final in the last 5 years: Barca.
The EPL has had FOUR teams: Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea.
The EPL has far more strength in depth and is a much stronger league overall.

I never claimed that La Liga was better than the EPHELL in terms on competition, i simply stated that all the EPHELL top players end up in Spain. The German league is by far the most entertaining at the moment, then you can maybe make arguments for a couple of others as second.

6 different teams have won the Bundesliga in since the Prem started, B. Munich seem to win it every other year, but Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, W. Bremen are all among the winners, which shows the competitiveness of this league.

Getting to the latter stages of Europe shows the strength of the top teams from a particular league, Uncertainty and competitiveness is what gives a league its greatness. Therefore the English Prem is NOT the best league in the world.

Stop posting ****e and accept it!

    edit

Just to prove my point a lil further: Take Man U, City, Chelski, Pool and Arsenal. Dump them in the SPL, all will still get to the latter stages of Europe, would that then make the SPL the best league in the world????

you talk absolute ****e. you just do not understand what being a football fan is all about. lets not pretend that you have ever been to see any of the teams you claim to support

Yes Mowbray is doing a good job at middlesboro, he has found his level. he did well at west brom in championship but was ****e in the EPL. i would say that should boro go up then they will struggle in the EPL.

la liga maybe a 2 horse race but how many teams can win the EPL? 2 i would argue, none of the others will make a challenge.

its funny how when the gfc hit the tories blamed labour, now that they are making it worse they blame europe. eventually you have to accept responsibility - unless you are a tory then it will always be someone elses fault. when you get old enough to work what will you do when you cannot get a job?

**** off and stay off this forum you **** eating donkey raper

C3LTIC, wrong. The top SPANISH players end up in La Liga just as the top BRITISH players end up in the EPL. Even that isn't true any more with players like Mata in the EPL.
The EPL is the only league with a worldwide audience, dominating the growing markets of Asia and Africa.
Sir Rupert Murdoch is a God for what he's done with the EPL.

PS theshadowsknowshit, are you seriously suggesting the SPL is a higher standard than the Championship? I love my Celtic like I love all my clubs but I'm not deluded about the standard of the league we play in. It's what holds us back in Europe.

I watched Napoli v Roma first 45 mins of football were as exciting as I've seen all season , no taking a minute to dry the ball like when Stoke take a long throw in at the half way line , epl standards have dropped , Norwich have a team of journey men and sit comfortably in the middle of the league , 2 of them even played for Livy and Motherwell in the and their striker makes Kris Boyd look slim !!!

If "British" football is the best in the world, how come the top 2 teams in your league didn't even make it out of the Champions League groups?

OSP, we don't have a top 2 like most leagues. We have a top 6. Bear in mind Man City, first year and in a tough group. Man U just got too complacent in an easy group. First year in a long time though that all 4 clubs didn't go through. Then you've got Spurs and Liverpool who have both done well in recent years.
That's why the EPL MUST get 6 CL places in my opinion. It's not fair. 4 is just not enough to go around.
