Haha **** Man United. Clattenburg misses the incident and claims he saw it without looking at it. Corruption in football. It makes me hate the game.

    lol bless

Yes actually, even though I agree that they are still being inconsistent anyway.

    Yes

    And wrong

Would stop to debate with you, but fortunately there are some people with common sense and decency on here.

Be a man and accept he's wrong, or don't. Either way, feel free to do it on your own board.

Thank you for ignoring the 27 posts about the Williamson incident.

Referee Howard Webb, who later sent off Fabricio Coloccini for elbowing Elmander, did not see the incident at the time but concluded it should have been a red card after reviewing video evidence

So he waved play on because he saw a fly hurtle into Nolan? He saw it, didn't put it in his post match notes and didn't mention it to cover his own arse.

12 seconds in, he raises his hands/arms in a 'Play On' signal. Also, it's straight in front of him, he couldn't miss it.

The referee can write to the FA and ask that the incident be reviewed if he feels that although the incident may have been seen at the time the action taken was not appropriate, this then allows the FA to review the incident and impose penalties if they wish.

"my point is, when a ref has seen the incident and acted on it (by giving a free kick) then theres nothing the fa can do"

What about the Ben Thatcher elbow on Pedro Mendes? He was booked for the incident during the game, but then retrospectively the FA acted and suspended Thatcher for eight matches, with an additional fifteen game ban that was suspended for two years.

The point is, there are instances where the FA can and should act despite whether or not the ref saw the incident, and in this case they have chosen not to. It's absolutely disgraceful and if it was any other player at a club lower than the "big 4" then action would have been taken.

Jordan, where you abused as a child or were you born without bollocks? Either way I detect a hormonal imbalance.

I'm no doctor or anything but you are what's medically known as a "****ing spakka".

Alternatively you may have just asked Rooney for a photo and the resulting elbow to the eye socket forced your tiny brain through one of your lugholes.

Mike Williamson was given a three game ban for walking into Johan Elmander, even though the ref played the advantage and then gave Williamson a ticking off when the ball went out of play. :emoticon-0173-middl
