What? I've been on enough of your threads to know that in most cases the vast majority disagree with you. Raylor's not exactly an obvious choice.

  3. No, but when you said that, you implied that you have that stupid belief in your head, that I'm a child that can't accept that other people have opinions different to my own.

I expected the majority of people to go for Abeid or Vuckic, but I would have expect a few people to at least mention Raylor. He's probably one of the best passers of the all in the team, and without him and Cabaye on the pitch, we have no one that can provide the same quality of dead ball deliveries, which can decide a game.

I didnt imply anything, you just sounded like you were about to go on a rant about Raylor. He's not an amazing passer and definitely not one of the team's best, there's a big difference between passing and crossing. If Raylor's to play it should be wide midfield IMO, only in CM in emergency.

  5. I know there's a difference between passing and crossing. I think Cabaye demonstrates that perfectly. He can pass extremely well but his crossing is average.

But I still think Raylor has good vision and can pass the ball well. And I worded what I said wrong, I didn't mean one of the best in the team, I meant one of the best options for center mid, in terms of his passing and creative abilities.

After Cabaye and maybe Guthrie he's the best option for that CM spot IMO. He couldn't replace Tiote in that defensive mid spot, but I think he could do well to cover Cabaye in that creative midfield spot.

I went for Abeid but i think i'm gonna change to Raylor, if he's fit. Or actually, give Obertan a rest, Raylor RM and Abeid CM, with Obertan available as an impact sub.

HMT. Vuckic is widely considered as one of the best passers in our team and can probably pick out a better ball than Raylor and maybe unlock a defence.

  8. What ever happens, we better ****ing play Ben Arfa and not play bastard hoofball again!

We will need sparks of quality in the central area of the pitch without Cabaye. HBA can provide those.

Not a bad idea actually. Could Vuckic even work as a RM, anyone? Then play Abeid/Perch/Smith/Raylor in the centre..
It would be a risk and inexperienced though but just a thought.

Vuckic played left wing in the Darlo friendy and is reasonable comfortable with both feet. It would be a gamble.

Raylor is a decent passer of the ball but his vision is nothing special and that is what sparks creativity. Pardew said he brought Vuckic on against Swansea because he thought that he might spark something, so he has obviously been showing good creativity in training. Vuckic also has tremendous technique so his passing is not bad either. I think having Raylor and Tiote in CM against West Brom at St Jame's is just too defensive and I want to see Vuckic/Abeid given a match.

Interesting point about set piece takers though. I suspect it will be whoever replaces Cabaye or Jonas, or even maybe Santon.

Ah yeah, who will take set pieces in the absence of Cabaye, Raylor, even Guthrie?

I think Jonas will be on corners (done OK in the past) and Ben Arfa on free kicks. Tiote took free kick duty last season when we had no takers though, that was weird.

Ive noticed when the opportunity arises for him to do so, Tiote can put in a rather good cross

He certainly can, but you wouldnt want him over the ball in a shooting position.

I would be happy with either Vuckic or Abeid but I think Vuckic is just ahead of him in the pecking order at the moment. I've seen Vuckic 3 times this season, @ Leeds and at home vs Fulham and at the weekend, every time I see him I think he looks a class act. He has the potential to be a big star
