http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...age-Pledge-Clegg-mocks-Tories-return-50s.html I know it is only the Daily Mail but what an absurd thing to even consider and I agree with Nick Clegg on this issue (that was painful to say). Relationship status should NOT mean tax breaks especially at a time of savage public cuts.
I doubt most on this site is actually married, going to be married or yet alone had contact with a girl/boy to be bothered with this topic.
As someone who has recently got married, I can only say this sounds like an inspired piece of legislation.
Cameron, not content with bringing the UK back to the 80s now wants to bring the country back to the 50s. We will be back in Victorian times this time next year.
Will we have an empire again and be undisputedly the most powerful nation on earth? Sounds good PS Sorry Ireland, back to being part of Blighty I'm afraid.
Let's not stop at the 50's...how about the 1850's....equal rights for imbeciles, send them to the workhouses and make them pay their way...waste of social services funding care for the "less able"...put them to industry and make Britain great again!
Nope, tax breaks are never a good idea and I don't believe there should be a connection between relationship status and tax status. It is an extremely unfair measure to introduce.
Correct I would like to also state that I am no friend of Daves, but this he has got just about right on the money. Hurrah.
