Tax Breaks for Married Couples?

I know it is only the Daily Mail but what an absurd thing to even consider and I agree with Nick Clegg on this issue (that was painful to say).

Relationship status should NOT mean tax breaks especially at a time of savage public cuts.

I doubt most on this site is actually married, going to be married or yet alone had contact with a girl/boy to be bothered with this topic.

 

As someone who has recently got married, I can only say this sounds like an inspired piece of legislation.

Nope, tax breaks are never a good idea and I don't believe there should be a connection between relationship status and tax status. It is an extremely unfair measure to introduce.
