How the hell would choice 8 work? I think you dont quite understand the 4-3-3.

Vuckic for me, but Abeid would be fine.

If Vuckic can cope with a box-to-box type role I'm cool with that.

To be honest I wouldn't mind any of Perch, Smith, Vuckic or Abeid.

    Went for Jonas' dog <ok>

Either Vuckic or Abeid but seeing as Vuckic is more attacking I will go with him.

Leaving this one to the boss, I'd assume Vuckic or Abeid but I don't know enough about either of them (sub appearances and Darlo for me) to make a call. So I voted Jonas' dog.

Dont expect Abeid to start. He couldnt get on on Satday when Cheik came off. All of that prematch talk of he could get a start was WAY off the mark.

To me Vuckic isnt the answer in a 2 man CM. If that is how we will play against WBA. Haris should be used either out wide or off the front ala HBA.

I voted for Vuckic, but have a horrible feeling that he might start Willow at CB and Perch at CM <yikes>

Not really, all the talk was he could start if Tiote wasn't fit, which he was. Vuckic came on for him because we needed a more attacking sub with ten minutes to go, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Abeid starts on Wednesday.

Vuckic for me but Abeid would be good too.

  13. Raylor because he's got good creative abilities, which is something we'll need in the absence of Cabaye.

I've gone with Mehdi Abeid, since i think hes a more like for like replacement. I think his range of passing is better than Vuckic, but the areas they cover on the pitch seem different. Abeid seems to like roaming about, so could possibly do that with Tiote as support, whereas Vuckic seems to be more standard in the whole box to box type of midfielder.

Ideally i'd like to see Ben Arfa in a diamon formation with Ba and Best both playing, but i think thats a little too attacking for Pardew. Especially since Tiote is full back to his best yet, that would be asking a lot of him.

Would rather rupture a testicle to be honest. <ok> Got to be Vuckic for me this is his time to shine, very attacking minded and clever on the ball (no Cabaye yet admittedly), his attitude is fantastic and he deserves the opportunity. Ready made back-up for Cabaye.

  17. Why has no one else gone for Raylor?

Abeid looks like a holding mid to me, Vuckic a support striker/CAM.

Raylor has played RM/CM before, and can pass the ball very well and has good vision. We have our defensive midfielder in Tiote, we need a creative one.

    Raylor for me.

It's a tough call. Pardew's said it's basically between Abeid and Vuckic and I think it comes down to how brave he's willing to be. Abeid's more defensive than Cabaye and Vuckic is more attacking than Cabaye, Guthrie is the most similar but he isnt available.

Because not everyone agrees with you.

He's good emergency cover but I dont think he'd do better than one of our young players and it could be hugely beneficial for them to make their full debuts.

  20. He defo deserves a chance but I remember when Cabaye came off after 2-0 against Everton. We struggled to create anything and just when we needed the sort of through balls or long passes that Cabaye offers, they never came and we got frustrated.

Raylor isn't as good as Cabaye, but he's the next best option after Cabaye, in terms of creativity. Plus without Raylor and Cabaye, who will take our free kicks? I'd like someone who can put in a good dead ball, as they could be the difference.

    Raylor ftw :D
