Thought we were all pretty loud today but it does concern me sometimes when we spend so much time abusing the opposition, why start on Rooney after he has scored?? Also did not hear one song for Mackie who again run his heart out for us, and why start abusing Alex Ferguson?? NW could not be arsed to wave to us, what is that all about?? Also no songs for HH, why the hell was he taken off?? Strange day but yet again missing the chances against the likes of Man U and giving that much space in the middle we will struggle. Can we maybe focus on trying to get our players going instead of abusing the opposition, remember what we done to Andy Cole a few seasons ago? We are still the best supporters in London but lets get it going for our team.
Welcome to the board mate, no need to go into the box and select anything when you create a thread, and I wish I had a pound for every time I've typed that!
I wouldn't have the nerve to go on someone elses board after getting spanked by them. But I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned like that, and you dear Sir are a cock.
We started on Rooney after he'd scored because we had no time before he had. Alex Ferguson for the sake of it. My guesses anyway.
It does happen a lot. Understandably. Btw, welcome Twickers, I agree with all you say. Let's back the team, I also think it sounds very disrepectful to abuse legends like SAF regardless what you think of them. We will all miss him once he's gone.
Keep hearing this phrase 'mackie doesnt stop running' and its really starting to piss me off! So what if hes running, he runs and falls, runs and misses, runs and ****s up and bam goal to the opposisition. He may well run but hes **** - this is no marathon and warnock wont take his blue eyed boy of the squad!
Back to the issue of the support today..... I thought it was amazingly subdued, especialy in comparison to the superb atmosphere at the Chelsea and Man City games. I put it down to their early goal which rather shut us up and the fact that the early kick off meant our noisier fans couldn't get tanked up before the game down the pub.
I know exactly what you mean and agree to some extent. But I think i'd rather have Mackie over SWP at the mo. At least Mackie beats players and wins corners, and gives his all which lifts the team. Whereas SWP has done nothing yet, dosen't beat or take on defenders, gets knocked off the ball too easily, no end product, dosen't win corners, no assists. I guess it's a case of 'Hobsons Choice.'
to be quite fair we all want to stay in the prem and move forward us the crowd should not just be giving it our all against the "big" teams , we should be doing it week in week out
